Sorry ladies TMI but how much blood is classed as spotting? I've just been to the toilet and have dried blood about the size of a pea but nothing more and no sign of AF?First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140

Hello ladies and welcome wigan :-) happy new year to you all.
Abi - can I join you? I'm not overweight but I have spent a lot of time between my miscarriages sitting around and letting everything get a bit flabby - it would be nice to get back to me again. So my goal for next week is 3 excercises, I went to the gym after work today and my normal run was a slog so hopefully I will find some fitness this year!
Loulou - ooooh very exciting - definitely get a test! and let us know what it says
We didn't try this month so probably not too long to AF as my cycles seem to have become short and snappy again but I think we will ntnp after my next one (assuming molar unit confirms levels are normal) that will be 3 normal results and as far as I have read on the internet (not particularly good medical advice I know but my GP knows nothing at all) its very uncommon for levels to fall to normal quickly, stay at normal and then rise spontaneously so its a risk level I'm happy with. We've also got our RMC appointmrnt on the 18th so I shall see what they say.
Birdie - hugs for CD1 but an excellent PMA list - hope you enjoy your cbfm
MV - thinking of you for tomorrow
Kelly - maybe you missed it? I found OPKs tricky to get the hang of to start with.
I'm a bit late to the discussion about getting pregnant really quickly but I don't think it happens to too many people. Obviously some are very lucky but I think some white lies are told once people have their babies about how long it really took. You also have to think about all the people who are careless with contaception, make a mistake, get carried away etc etc and don't get pregnant, but of course you don't hear so much about them because people don't brag about not using contraception and not getting pregnant if that makes sense?0 -
codemonkey wrote: »We bd'd as much as was possible with DH. We've been trying for almost 3 years now, well NTNP for a bit then 18 months of actively trying. During that time there were 3 cycles where we didn't BD during my fertile time, because I needed to be able to fit into my wedding dress and maybe another 1 where it just didn't happen. We've BD'd every month within 3 days of ov. Sadly, DH is physically unable to BD every day and short of sexually assaulting him there's nothing I can do about that. This cycle we've done it 3 times - 3 days before, 1 day before and the actual day which is unheard of and DH is exhausted, poor thing. I think I've been more than patient.
Credit -the mirena is a hormonal coil so the variation in your cycle lengths might be because of your body settling down.
I really hope it works for you this month.
If the milestone of 18 months is making you feel bad then count it as 14. I think ntnp is so tricky because unless you have regular cycles its hard to look back & know if anything would happened anyway timing wise. Plus I think it's very hard to try perfectly each cycle because life gets in the way.
It's unfortunate that all of this stuff is pretty much out of our control I wish for everyone's sake it wasn't.0 -
Becca - I'd count any blood that's not AF as spotting. but if it's only a tiny bit and nothing else I wouldn't worry, its pretty normal to get ov spotting/enthusiastic BD spotting/random spotting every once in a while.0

I think I once saw Nicki say on here you should put down what was the majority cm for the day. Not sure if that alters for spotting.0
