I got my coil taken out late August 2012. I have had cycles every month:
Sept 29 days
Oct 32 days
Nov 25 days
Dec 31 days
As you can see they are a bit 'all over the place'
When would you guys suggest to start doin ovk? from CD7? or is that too soon?
Thanks in advance :-)
CD7 would be a little early. Perhaps cd9/10? If 25 is the shortest its ever been just to cover yourself incase you were to ovulate around cd 11.
Have you bought some cheap ones?0 -
hi claire i bought some ovk from ebay so hopefully they will be ok0

Was that a copper coil or a hormonal coil out of interest?0 -
Hello everyone
Haven't been on for ages, as me and hubby stopped charting etc, as it made ttc to much of a "task" and not fun.
Have no real idea when I ov this month, but have just realised how late AF is (last visit was on 25th Nov, so 38-39 days since last time!)
Been having stomach cramps for last 48 hours so thought her arrival was imminent, but now I'm beginning to wonder, as this is longest cycle I've had in years....
Might have to get a test when I go shopping tonight0 -

Good for you!
Can you honestly say that you bded at the perfect time in everyone of those 18 months though?
When I look back at my FF charts, there were definitely a couple/few in there where we had a pathetic ONE bd at ovulation time. Must try harder is now my motto!:)
Dh is rather excited about that - although he seems to have forgotten very quickly how knackered and drained he apparently was when we did do it 3 times in a row when I got pg :rotfl:
We bd'd as much as was possible with DH. We've been trying for almost 3 years now, well NTNP for a bit then 18 months of actively trying. During that time there were 3 cycles where we didn't BD during my fertile time, because I needed to be able to fit into my wedding dress and maybe another 1 where it just didn't happen. We've BD'd every month within 3 days of ov. Sadly, DH is physically unable to BD every day and short of sexually assaulting him there's nothing I can do about that. This cycle we've done it 3 times - 3 days before, 1 day before and the actual day which is unheard of and DH is exhausted, poor thing. I think I've been more than patient.
Credit -the mirena is a hormonal coil so the variation in your cycle lengths might be because of your body settling down.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

That's a hormonal coil so it may take a while for your cycles to settle back to normal. I've heard around 3 months but everyone is different0 -
Just after a bit on advice. AF isn't due till Saturday but I am getting pains which are not like normal AF pains and are more to my right side. I don't normally get them this early or as painful. My cycles are always 27 days.
Any advice?0 -
Katy you could try an early test for reassurance- I'm assuming the worry is an ectopic? so if it's negative now then it's not implanted anywhere yet but may still do
afm still no ov but ewcm, last cycle was 46 days so I guess this one will be too if I'm lucky or longerstill, I know I'm lucky to ovulate at all
spent the day looking after my niece, she was slightly grumpy but it was very satisfyingwould much rather do that then go to work!
fingers crossed Loulou!
Birdie big hugs for cd1 and I'm jealous of your cbfm
