Trying for a Baby Part 8

Morning Ladies and Wigan,
Well my temp has finally gone up so I think I have Ov'd. Will wait a couple of days for FF to comfirm before I change my days. Don't think soy made me ov any sooner but it did hurt like a b*tch the last couple of days.0 -
I managed to convince OH to BD every other day for the next two cycles to maximise our chances, as they are the two that I could go off on maternity before the end of my Uni course in September.
He has arthritis so BD is a bit difficult at times, and to tell you the truth we both tend to get stressed out and lose our libidos. It has just been so nice to BD more. It has really added a little something extra to our relationship. I don't think it's sustainable in the long term, but a very nice side effect of all this TTC lark!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
We're the same Lara.
Only the other day OH was saying how much happier we've been recently as we're a lot more intimate and because we're trying to get the timing right which obviously falls on different days each month it's not as predicatable as it used to be
- it became a joke amongst our friends that we were never available on Sunday evenings as it was movie and sex night!!! :rotfl:
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I think I'm ov'ing today, but will wait for the temp jump to call it. We have done the bd 7 times since CD 5! That's almost unheard of here! Poor DH is such a sport. His back has been causing him grief since he got home last night, but he still was able to bd this morning.0

:wave:Hello new ladies (and gent) nice to meet you all
Not much happening with me just waiting to ov and hoping its earlyish this month. Had a lovely day with the OH yesterday went for a ginormous messy burger and finally got to watch the hobbit which was awesome!
I have the back to work blues though and am not looking forward to going back on Mondayits going to be painful to go back to 6am wakeups again boooo
hugs to all x0 -
Purcy - I completely understand about the early wake ups, even if we don't have to get up at 6 am. Over the holidays we were routinely sleeping until at least 9, sometimes as late as 11! Now we are back to the 7 am alarm. Ugh. I actually woke up around 6:30 this morning, which was my usual time to wake up before the holidays. Must mean I'm getting enough rest at night.0

Going back to the alarm clock has been a real shock to the system. I was ill over christmas (every flaming year!) so wasn't waking up till about 9am... which is unheard of for me. Getting up at 6.45 the last couple of days has been a killer. On the plus side, I can have a lie in again tomorrow - I could definitely get used to this part-time working0

How is everyone today? I've completely fallen off the diet wagon due to feeling ill, I always munch when I'm not well. Luckily I'm working from home the next two weeks so no early starts, it's not usually like this so I'm feeling grateful.
After being upset all weekend because my progesterone test came back low, I'm feeling a bit more zen about everything now. I've realised just how long it can take to conceive, particularly at my age (36 next month) and am gearing myself up for a long haul. I was lucky enough to conceive my little boy by accident so now that I've accepted that it won't happen so easy twice, I can accept it may take a while. I was prevented from TTC most of last year due to a medical condition, so when I finally got the green light I got a bit gung ho about making it happen quickly. But that's just been stressing me out so now I'm ready to be a bit more patient - until I get impatient again of course!0 -

You two really made me laugh - our poor DH's :rotfl:
But seriously if youre worried about making them ill, you can always stop a day after ov!0 -

Why do our bodies/minds seem to want to do the opposite of what our goals are :rotfl:You were ill so you fall off the diet wagon- when I get ill, I hardly eat and my aim is to put on a bit of weight!
I was saying the same to my SIL the other day - when she found out Id had a miscarriage she said her diet went to pot and she put 4lbs on because she was so upset for us. Whereas I lost 3lbs due to the stress! I said to her, next time you feel that way, pack up the food and pop it in the post to me! :rotfl:
are you going to get any ovulation sticks or temp so you can check your ovulating? Ive heard of so many people being told they had low levels when the test was just done at the wrong time!0
