Just finished watching One Born Every Minute - was that a good idea or not? I guess it gives me hope that it can and does happen! I always cry when the babies pop out though - sitting here with tears in my eyes (not unhappiness or anything, I just cry a lot watching soppy stuff on tv)

I loved that show til I lost my baby. I stupidly watched a recorded version & got really mad seeing this guy talk about worrying about loosing his freedom & another woman saying she cried when she got a bfp.

Although I carried on watching & did laugh at a few points. Don't think I will watch it like I did before though where I didn't miss an episode.

Oh I'm sorry honey. I found it helpful cos all the early tests showed nothing, so it reassured me I just need to wait a bit longer.

Most of them look BFN on there to me, but I'm as guilty as anyone of POAs too early and then squinting at it.

That is sad about QQ, I stopped lurking so didn't know, I think I kinda guessed something had happened cos she wasn't here. I hope she's OK. She kinda WAS this thread and it feels odd without her.

I hope she's ok too. We miss you QQ x

    hi everyone,
i was wondering if i could join you all
im 20 with a nearly 4 year old son (he was a massive suprise (failed contraception) but i wouldn't change a thing i love him more than anything in the world. myself and my partner (LO's dad) have been together for nearly 6 years and planning to start NTNP/TTC this year ....
myself and my partner aren't TTC yet :o but will be in a couple of months :) when the debt is all paid off :j.... not long to go ! so was hoping i could join you im on the waiting to TTC thread but its gone abit quiet so wondered if i could join you all a few months early to get into the swing of it all with all the abriviations etc and get to know you all. :) and also try and work out my cycles (when i ov etc) i think we're going to NTNP once the debt is paid but thinking about maybe tracking my temp too as i have had really irregular cycles since i came off the depo in sept 2011 (i had 1 jab in june or july and was due my next one in sept which i never had). the drs then put me on the pill from march 2012 till sept 2012 and that didnt work so have been waiting for my cycles to regulate ever since ..... they are getting there very slowly. ive also had awful pain in my pelvis since xmas day. i saw AF on the 20th dec and finished AF on the 22nd ..... AF is normally at least 5 days long .... went to the drs on the 28th and they put me on codine and paracetamol for the pain and gave me some tablets to take when i start next AF and if its no better after the tablets ive got to go back for scans, so will see what happens xxx

happy new year everyone .... sending you all lots of baby dust xxx

Hello All, could I join you please x
Just got married a few days before Christmas and we already have a gorgeous little boy age 19 months. I'm excited and nervous about trying again
I'm 33, last time I got pregnant quickly although I remember a tad neurotic at the time and found the ttc thread on here very supportive. I've just finished a pack of pills. not had period yet so not "trying" til after that. Thanks ;)

    Welcome Optimistic and Fluffysox!

    I miss QQ too :(

My shiny new toy still hasn't arrived. I think I'll be calling CD1 today so need something to cheer me up! :)

Angie, I don't think OH would be willing to go private just yet. He's got 18 months stuck in his head as the 'acceptable time' to TTC and I'll go with it (we've been trying for 14 :o). I tentatively brought up the subject of paying for IVF if it ever came to that and he flat out refused to put me though it so I don't want to upset him by pushing and fertility stuff right now. He's the type who needs time to sort out stuff in his head and decide it's his idea rather than be talked into it! :p We do have a medical cash back plan so if we do have a private consultation at any point at least we'll get £200 back. :)

As for OV, I've been assuming I have been but not 100% convinced, which is why I'm eagerly awaiting my CBFM! :)

Oh no i dont think i could cope without a cup of tea :)

It's definitely a good idea to try different brands. Some are awful and some are just like regular tea. I drink 4/5 cups a day. I love a cuppa so couldn't be without my tea either.

I have Asda own-brand decaff teabags and they taste lovely. I drimnk their decaff coffee sometimes too and that's not bad.

I really fancy a cup of tea now!

    Hello and Happy new year.

I'm on CD15 and think just OVed a day or two ago, so could call it 2DPO. We only managed to BD on CD9 and 14 as we had family stay or stayed with family, so no big hope this month. But may the new year bring loads of BFP to the rest of you.
