Off topic - does anyone have any good ways to get rid of hiccups? I've had them 4 times today already and they're beginning to hurt!

Before we were TTC, I'd just take a tiny sip from a scotch bottle (one I didn't like), which would immediately make me stop hiccuping. With my 'no alcohol except during AF' rule, I can't do that now and these things are driving me crazy! Thanks in advance!

just seen this. I have the best hiccup cure ever but nobody ever believes me. You need a glass of water and a teaspoon of sugar. Put the sugar into your mouth then use a drink of water to swallow the sugar. Not sure why but works every time. I get hiccups all the time and I sound like Gordon the gopher.

Hi Ladies and welcome Wigan :D

Please can someone stop me symptom spotting? I have been a nightmare on Google today, got little stabbing pains in my abdomen and just felt generally strange plus I had a strange lump in my throat type feeling earlier which of course I googled and what comes up in the auto text thing??........."a sign of early pregnancy"

God I think if you type any symptom in there it comes up with that arrgghh!! Driving myself crazy!!

Anyway - hope everyone is ok?

Code - I haven't tried the sugar trick but I do drink a glass of water backwards which is really difficult to explain but it works for me!

Birdie - Hugs and fingers crossed for a helpful CBFM :)

    Loving the crochet piccies!

I'm going to go and [STRIKE]symptom spot[/STRIKE] watch tv now!

Hugs to all who need them xx

haha hopelass, I think if you type anything into google it's a pregnancy symptom. The amount of times I've typed something like "sore toe" in hoping it'll show as a symptom. Fingers crossed for you though although I need to wag the finger at you for ssing.

Ok. Think I've ov'd but the red clover stuff I've been drinking is making me wetter than usual.

I'm madly symptom spotting as well! 7dpo and have chronic insomnia (up till 5.30 this morning) and sore boobs.

Obviously way too early to test but I will never last another 8 days...

Does it matter whether u use the conceive plus applicators or just the lubricant tube?

I bought the applicators which are good but quite expensive so am thinking the tube would be more cost effective.

Good luck everyone with the resolutions, it's great that you're all taking control of things :) I think my resolutions are going to be more home / tidying related, but hopefully we'll all see success in our many endeavors for 2013 :o

    Good Morning ladies

can I predict 7 this month please

Started taking my agnus castus and Vit B complex tablets now so we'll see if they have any effect on my ridiculously short lp, fingers crossed.

Just a friendly warning to any who decide to take vit b6 boy oh boy does it make your wee luminous. Luckily I'd read somewhere about this otherwise I would have been really freaked out!

Hugs to those who are suffering at the moment and hello hopes may your stay be short x

    :rotfl:

I took b6 for morning sickness but it didn't work- glad I didn't persue it after hearing that!

ok here's a weird one as we're all starting exercise plans. Is it ok to do strenuous exercise in the 2ww?

Not that I'm trying to get out of i already.

It's fine, your probably more likely to harm yourself than anything else in 2ww so just take care of you!

The month I did get pg, was after about 5 weeks of doing just dance on the wii for 30 mins every day - I normally do no exercise. Then in the 2ww I flew to Hawaii, drank a Mai tai on the plane, went boogie boarding, had a massive stomach upset from a dodgy meal, and flew home. If the baby wants to implant it will implant! :)

It is for me. I can never sleep when I'm pregnant, drives me nuts. Waking early is all part of the same. I think it's to do with the hormones, same as having vivid dreams.

to stop yourself testing, lose some time on this website instead http://www.canyouseealine.com/
