And what's with the new forum name!?!

Ooh hadn't noticed that until you pointed it out. Guess I should refrain from posting in here then... :p
Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP
(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)

Thank you all for the hugs. They were very much needed .

I'm not going to share the letter with the culprit (my Dad). I'm afraid that he'll reject my feelings and I'm not sure I can take that at the moment. I have spoken to my Mum and she understands how upset I've been about it all. I don't want her to say anything to my Dad but I live in hope that if he does start criticising me again she'll maybe have a bit of empathy for my situation and might defend me.

abis - Your comments are definitely not what I wanted to hear in that moment (and to be honest I put my fingers in my ears and went lalalalala I can't hear you ) BUT I appreciate where you're coming from and when I'm not feeling so awful I can see things from a reasonable perspective. I just wanted to say that you didn't speak out of turn and if anything I wanted to thank you for clearly taking the effort to say what you did tactfully and with consideration of my feelings. So thank you. Oh and I love the metaphor – very wise!

And hugs to you for the CD1 but brilliant PMA. I hope you do!

amy – I’m sure you’ll find a plan of action that will work out best for you in the long run. It might just take a little bit more research and planning.

    firefly – 2kg loss. That’s brilliant. Well done x

COMP – sending you some hugs. Hope your PMA picks up again soon.

atton – sorry you feel like everything is getting on top of you.

Elsie – hugs to you too. What about not trying but not preventing for one month. You’ll still be working towards the goal but in a more relaxed way.

Metranil – hope you’re feeling better soon and I love the instructions for the Hubby.

jessi – this thread is a great source of information and comfort. I’d definitely recommend it.

Raz – sorry for the CD1. Time for wine and chocolate!

    Bigzippy – Yay for 1DPO!

TeamLowe – Hope your back feels better soon. Tell DH to stop playing games and to make you a nice cuppa.

Time2deal – I know what you mean about the changes to the forum. It’s weird. I wonder where this thread will end up?

QQ – if you’re lurking just wanted to say hello and that I’m thinking of you x

Hate the new forum name! Sensitive me got upset about it until I saw the message that there was to be an MSE Couples.
I think it's ridiculous and must be based on the same market research that says anything can be sold by using the phrase 'busy mums' (cos only mums are busy, my life is positively empty...) and using children to sell everything but oh we'll, long as I know where to find you lovely ladies and the vouchers I'm not too fussed how they spend their time :) x x

Phew - glad I can stop holding my breath now thinking you would be really cross with me fannyanna. :o

I've had a testing afternoon! A preacher guy has been in reception for 2 hours at work, and I was just a captive audience for him really so I have had 2 hours worth of being talking to in BIG detail about something I normally aren't all that interested in. Feel like I want wine and chocolates more than ever but am trying my hardest with slimming world this week. Not that I have lost a sausage on the scales so far this week - which had better be water retention and be cleared up by weigh in on wednesday or I shall be very cross :rotfl:
 Married my lobster in July 2011

TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait :o

 2013 is going to be our lucky year

It's an incredibly bad decision that can only be based on marketing.

    I'm actually really offended.

  • hugs to all needing, theres plenty of arm to go around :)

and to all the CD1s as well!

Still longing for CD1, i was sure it was going to happen, but nothing so far!

Zippy - that really is impressive!

My DH has announced when we are away itll be twice a day every day....nevermind broken man.....ill be a broken woman!

abis - Breaking Dawn was pretty good, people are saying theres this great bit thats not in the book...i mustve missed it, the bit theyre saying isnt in the book is in the book but theyve made a bigger thing of it in the movie.
We are off to the Caribbean for just over 3 weeks on Sunday :) so ill be out of contact for a few weeks, and itll take me the same time to catch up with you all again!
I want to see everyone getting a BFP while im away so i come back to a dead thread :)
but i shall be here for the rest of the week first and hopefully get to CD1 asap so i can enjoy my holiday

  • Lots of sad faces around at the moment. Big big hugs to fannyanna. And to abi for CD1, all ready for a Christmas bfp though?
I'm feeling rubbish today, maybe its the weather/darkness but I just feel like hibernating. I'm really happy for lovely pregnant ladies getting their forever babies but I wish it could be me too.
Not a fan at all of the new name, where do the ttc and miscarriage threads fit in? On not sure its here.
  • I can't see the point of them splitting the boards up either. It wasn't broken, so why try and fix it?? Annoying!

Lemon I'm with you on the hibernating. Spent most of the morning in bed, got up for a couple of hours, felt dizzy and depressed so went back to bed again.

Just got up and it's dark outside...lovely.
Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..

The board splitting thing has just really narked me.

There are many of us here that are not yet Mum's. But now we have to go onto the Mum board to get to this thread.

What about the women that want to post on the miscarriage thread?

Right, I'm officially going to dive in and embrace all this madness. 5 months of trying is long enough to 'relax and see what happens'. I will quite simply be reupduffed by my due date and that's all there is to it. Have bought some opks and have tested (neg), have downloaded FF for my Kindle and instructed DH that romance is officially dead and he's on shag duty every night this week.

So, CD9 for me please. Cycles still not regular since mc (yeah, cheers for that mother nature) but they're between 24-27 so at least the months roll by quickly, although of course it never feels like that.

Abis, I just want to say how gutted I am for your CD1. I have been silently keeping everything crossed for you
