awwwwwww, what a cutie! I really like 'human' names on animals so I'd probably keep Eddie. I had a duck called Gertrude when i was growing up and a cat called Eric.

We don't have any pets at the moment Just after my last mc I did something terrible when I was really out of it and not myself and he died. Urgh, this year has been crap.

Daring myself to join this thread 'officially'. I didn't join before cos I usually get pg really quickly and I didn't want to p!ss everyone off. I think I'll leave it another cycle

Courgette come and join us. I don't know if my point of view is different but I'm always extra happy for bfps after a loss, no matter how quick they are.

I do like his name. Our motorhome is called Freddie Junior tho (the house is freddie senior as we live on Frederick Road). So I worry that Eddie and Freddie are too samey.

Awww, you must have lots more friends than me on facebook My due date buddy is going to be announcing her birth soon So not looking forward to it

Our other cat is called 'mousie' as named by DD who was 2.5 or 3 at the time? Awww ((hugs)) for your pet dying. Our guinea pig died a few days ago and it was horrid.

I say join the thread :T Noone will hold it against you if you get upduffed straight away :cool: I think the thing most people get upset about is when random people come on and tell us their news even tho they have never introduced themselves before. And I think thats probably cos they have been lurking and seen others get congratulated so much and think they will maybe receive the same reception

Hehehehe, you should get one Its gonna be my substitute baby :cool: I will get it the day after my due date so will be lovely to be bringing another family member in, even if it is a bit hairier than the one I had imagined :cool:

Abis - Eddie is lovely. I think he will let you know if he likes the name. Our puppy was originally called Angel but she refused point blank to even acknowledge it when we called her. The only thing she would respond to was being called Smurf.:rotfl:So it stuck and that is what she is called. Hope I don't have the same experience with baby names:rotfl:

Becca - I'm sure a blood test will sort out the confusion if there is no definate answer tomorrow morning.

onlywayis up - Yay for shortest cycle. We you on hormonal birth control before your started ttc? It took at least 6 months for my body to settle after getting the implant out. I started out with a LP of 10days and every couple of cycles it got longer by a day. Now I am upto a 14 day LP and it seems to have settled there. I'm never going back on hormonal BC.

Haha only a bit hairier? kitties do give the second best cuddles, Rocky purring on me is so comforting :smileyhea

mousie is such a cute but funny kitty name! Now every time you mention your daughter I'm going to think of her as being a cute but funny little girl x x

Our cat was called Dave

Sadly we had to have him put to sleep in Feb this year as he was really ill, but he was an awesome moggy and the name suited him so well!
