RazWaz - Hugs for spotting. It takes some people a little bit longer than others unfortunately :o Hope its a quicker journey than you anticipate

MV - Hope you had a good night out with the girls the other night. Your eggs are not past it :o Hope you and your son are feeling lots better soon. Big smiley-hug012.gif for CD1

Applepie - Ouchies on the new commute time  Good luck with the job hunting

Pomme - I don't think you ever get a shy BFP - more like a mis-calculated ov time. Good luck with testing  I'd go with testing every 2-3 days when you are late, but I do that with IC's so it doesn't make much difference money wise for me to do that...

TeamLowe - I don't think you just have the one shot at being a mom. I think it just takes some people a lot more perseverence than others :o When are you able to start on clomid?

Trina - Hope you enjoyed breaking dawn (I read that back on my notes as breaking down and I was like !!!!!! have I written?!). Where are you off on your hols?

Firefly - Thank you for the explanation - have always wondered what the difference was. Fingers crossed you ov soon.

Courgette - Hugs for having to re-interview for a job you don't want :o I like temping as I have found the IC OPKs not to be able to pinpoint ov for me this month. I have irregular cycles still, so it would cost me way too much money if I was to use digi ones. Hope we all get upduffed soon :D

Jovie - I find EWCM really interesting. Who knew what our bodies did every month before TTC?! Like the sound of the book. Are there any tips for long timers, or just more helpful for newbies?

Becca - Fingers crossed yours is a BFP tomorrow. CD digi has a lower sensitivity than the one you tried, so it is possible that you can get a +ve on a FRER for example or an IC, and a -ve on a digi. Hopefully you will see a +ve on both of them in a couple of days tho :D

Chloelouise - smiley-hug012.gif for CD1 and bigger hugs for the long wait to TTC again. It sucks having to wait :(

BZ - Yay for yr letter with clomid. Hope you don't have to write any more letters to them

    Vesper - smiley-hug012.gif for CD1

Beautybutterfly - Totally agree with you. Think they should also teach in school etc that it also can be hard to make a baby when you do want one :o

Onlywayisup - smiley-hug012.gif for CD2. I think 12-16 DPO is the 'norm' so 11DPO is not too out there... Have you been tracking it for long?

QQ - How you doing? Hope you are still reading along? Miss you xxx

AFM - Still odd bits of spotting. Had some cramping last night so thought AF might be following, but nothing - so I have now decided that it is ligament stretching. Oh dear :o

  • Hello ladies

Big hugs MV for CD1, 29 days is pretty good though and as much as a BFP would have been great, I think it might do you some good to have a month to get your balance back and enjoy a drink or four and get a lovely forever baby christmas BFP? Hope your roast was delicious :)

Big Zippy - wooooo for CD14 peak - hope you had a great weekend ;)

Pomme - got my fingers really crossed for you tomorrow, you too Becca, I think there might be something behind multiple evaps! Maybe you've only recently ov'd and its a really early BFP?

Abis - thank you so much for doing the lists, hope you've had a good weekend

Just getting on with things here - going back to work was fine, as predicted my boss barely even acknowledged I'd been off, let alone say anything nice. The people I work with were nice though, the two people that knew were both really kind. I managed to speak to OH and we agreed we didn't want to prevent anything happening either - it just doesn't feel right. Not going to think about my cycle though just relax and get on with it - I feel much better for talking about it too.

Hope you're all having a good weekend :) I'm away to make cinnamon toffee apples to eat with Homeland - that program is so tense I need some comfort food!

I know!! Feels odd to be so fascinated by these things! The only thing is if it was EWCM there didn't seem to be very much of it, is that bad?

Book is more helpful for newbies, its just a bit of an overview of everything rather than going in depth and to be honest I already knew a lot of it just from reading these boards. The tone of the book is very good though, doesn't take itself too seriously and laughs at the crazy ways women act when TTC :p

Lemon, i'm glad you managed to speak to your OH and pleased that you are feeling better about things, it's always good to have everything out in the open :)

Pomme and Becca, fingers crossed for sticky BFPs for both of you!

Good luck to all those testing tomorrow.

Re the shy BFPs, a friend of mine only tested positive with her first baby a week after she was due so it does happen.

ChloeLouise, I may be speaking out of turn but don't you have one more month to get a pre September due date? It's just I put my due date into a calculator today (I know, I know, naughty me) and it gave me a due date of Aug18th and the first day of this cycle was 11th Nov so unless you have very long cycles you could just sneak it in?
    Updating soon...

    I've been Money Tipped!
Thanks guys. I'm starting to think there is something .... I'm going to the docs again, this is turning me crazy. She said 2 missed periods which it is.
I'll test again in am. Can see faint line at arms length with light on, it was dark when I tested so not sure if I'd see it in natural light

Thanks for kind wishes ladies xx

Awwww! I come back to the thread and there's kitties, yey! :j :j :j Will read back and catch up later... still no sign of ANYTHING at this end
  • aww Eddie is super cute abis! I'd keep the name personally, but if you have another which you feels suits him better then you could rename him.

Thanks for your words lemon. I think I probably did need a break this month, but as everyone else here I'm sure feels, I want it soooooo much! I'm very impatient!

Grrrrr..seriously though if one more person announces their pregnancy on FB, I'll delete the whole bloody thing :(
