First cycle is always the worst:o0 -
I'm now in a caravan in Wales, with no tests and no access to a shop, no idea how I'm going to manage till Friday if AF doesn't show up tomorrow0

Congrats MV, great news - fingers crossed for you!! I was hoping we could be BFP buddies but I've done another test today and it's BFN.
I think with both me and DH having problems I was clutching at straws but I was being hopeful! Not even the slightest symptom of AF either so knowing my luck I didnt actually ov when I thought I did and I'm in for one of my notoriously long cycles. Booh. It's not fair.0 -
Lily the legend - sorry your drs are being rubbish... seems to be a common complaint around here. If you do speak to your GP again it might be worth asking about metformin. It's a diabetes medication but it's often given to ladies with PCOS and can help with weight loss. I don't know the full science behind it but it's something to do with insulin resistance (which in turn is something to do with PCOS). It can lower appetite, and I think it alters how your body processes the food you eat.
The side effects can definitely help with weight loss (you need to stay near the bathroom for a while lol!)
It's also meant to help regulate or kickstart your cycles - this isn't really happening with me but hey, it can't work for everyone.
Obviously I'm not a dr at all and this isn't meant as medical advice, just offering my experience as it may be something you might want to look into further.0 -
Oh boy 2 very faint lines on 2 Internet cheapies with smu trying not to let myself get excited as they could be evap lines, want to test again but I've run out of wee! Lol. Off to work now so will have another go tomorrow eek
Hugs to all x0
