I was feeling quite positive this cycle but have lost all PMA of late. Why isn't it happening? It's making me so angry and resentful. I'm at 11 months now. Er :(

DS's 1st birthday party on Saturday and I'm really excited. It
It'll be so nice to have lots of family and friends all in one place. As i type this, DS is wandering around with roles of wrapping paper :o lol

Hope everyone else is feeling a bit perkier. Do we have anyone testing in the next few days?

Oh no, sounds mega frustrating! :( Chin up Lillymay. I am trying not to get my hopes up because I know it can take a long time and it is only our second month of properly trying, but I am kinda hopeful...Planning to test on the 25th-ish.

Can't beat a good birthday party! :) Having all that to organise should take your mind off it I guess! :)

    Optimism doesn't hurt anyone :)

    Good Luck!

I've already done allthe organising! It's just a case of finishing of all the bits and bobs.
I've already started wrapping Xmas presents.....I need a life!

On the plus side, I am LOVING having this time off work and am really enjoying spending the time with DS so I know for sure that resigning was the right thing to do.

I think I might do a test on Saturday when I wake up. I'm pretty sure it'll be - but I'll have the party to distract me so won't be too upset!

Wow! Xmas wrapping already - you are super organised!! :) Good luck for Sat! And as you say, at least you will have the party fun if it isn't positive - fingers crossed for you though! x

Does anyone else's OH ask them questions like - do you feel pregnant? When you are only a few DPO. It's quite sweet that he is interested, but it is slightly annoying when there wouldn't be any symptoms anyway. Lol!

Oooh this is so frustrating just done another test and had faint line again they have all been proper squinters but definitely there within the test time frame all the same thickness as the other line all looking faintly pink to me. Is it possible to get 3 evaps in a row? All within the time period? Don't even want to tell dh yet as I don't believe but don't want to do a digital in case it tells me no? Rant over

    Hey ladies :hello:

Fingers crossed you caught the egg firefly!

Thanks for the help TeamLowe. :)

Sorry you've lost your PMA Lilymay :( The party sounds fun :)

Well, we went to the doctor this afternoon. He checked the results and said PCOS wasn't clear from the results, although there are other deciding factors (as I know from you lovely ladies on here). He rang the hospital and asked them to test the blood again, this time for testosterone.

DH came with me and the doctor asked how often we BDed and if we drunk alcohol/smoked etc and asked what our BMIs were (so I guess at first glance at least we didn't necessarily look above 30! That's what I'm telling myself anyway lol). And he just said to bear in mind we couldn't have treatment until we were below that. He was very nice and helpful about it all and gave me some website links to look at.

He also gave DH a SA kit. DH has arranged an appointment to take his sample to the hospital on Friday. As he has to abstain for between two and seven days beforehand I told him to go and knock one out in a Tupperware tub as a practice run...:rotfl: Which he did and very proudly showed me the result. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Feel much better after talking to the doctor. :)

AF has just about started but think CD1 will be tomorrow now.

Thanks again for everyone's support. :)

Aw man! So frustrating! Maybe you should do a digi - or do one first thing in the morning so there will be enough hormones present in your urine to hopefully give you a stronger result?? Fingers crossed for you! :)
