onlywayisup: yep a long time to be having af and still not pregnant you would think i would have had more of a chance

i just wish i could stop crying i feel so s*it about myself i know i should be happy that i am on the uni course but i have to wait till next tues to know if my whole life is turned upside down as benefits say they will take money off me each week as i have had to apply to student finance which means we still don't know about the wedding

how is my oh helping he is sitting on the ps3 and playing on bullet storm which is a shooting game

i am in the wrong frame of mind at the moment and i cant shake it. i am a few hundred short for the wedding and i am not loosing 2,000 because i have to wait on other people

why do i feel like i am going to fail and that i am going to be asked to leave?

I always feel like a naughty schoolgirl when buying pg tests, even now that I'm a "grown up". I always try to make sure they see my wedding ring and I'm sure I go bright red. I used to lurk on here ages ago and I'm sure I read a story about someone buying a test in a supermarket and the checkout operator making a comment and it stayed with me.

LOL! I just buy cheapies off the net, Ive only done 2 and one was just to prove DH I wasnt pg and hadnt even ov yet I just had a really long cycle. Im too scared of bumping into someone I know in the shops!

ps - my big sister & BIL made me buy their pg test when they were expecting my niece. They're both teachers and despite being married for years, own home, etc. they just couldn't face one of the kids they teach seeing them lol.

Cant you ask for some more work? I sometimes have the odd day with hardly anything to do and I cant bear it so Id go mad if it was all the time.

Got the doc writing 3 letters. Got some sodium chloride to stick in my ear and if it sti isnt right by friday i get syringed!!!

Smear test needs to be done in the middle of the cycle else the hormones changes the results. If i remember right. Had too many to remember as i started my periods at 7 1/2 so i need to be checked every 6 months. As im high risk due to starting so early

Can i ask when you trapped her hand how did you relax another. Sorry but i chuckled at that.

Good thing about smear tests at my docs is that they use plastic speculums instead of metal like the hospital. Where they shove it in which shocks you making hou clamp then you get shouted at to relax. Yes cause thats gonna happen

You can still get your hair backcombed without leaving it for 5 days! That really is strange your hair dresser said that. Personally Id be finding another one or just ignoring them and wash it anyway! My hair would be disgusting after 5 days! Ive had my hair done 3 times for weddings with backcombing, curling etc, and with each time Ive washed it the day or night before.

My friend had a hair dresser who wouldnt do what she wanted for her wedding so she changed. So make sure you get what you want out of the trial and dont be scared to go with someone else if youre not happy

If youve got EWCM then perhaps youre about to ov? Sorry I havent read to see where you are in your cycle though. Or sometimes it can just be like that near AF.


Mogwai - I agree. Im still temping because I dont have regular cycles so Id be stressed if I didnt, but Im not not taking an ibuprofen if Ive got a headache, or going totally tee-total etc quite yet!

This af is not heavy and i have not had the normal af problems, it seems to be quite light compared to other cycles i have had.

My belly feels a bit wobbly but no cramping, i know i am only on CD1 but hmmm what could be going on, also like i said earlier seem to have egg white consistency in the blood and it was brown for a bit, not as heavy as normal, i have had some clotting and i have had to go to the toilet 3 times today but i put that down to stress

could all this be down to stress

i saw a good friend of mine today and had a catch up over coffee, she informed me that uni will be v empowering and will boost my confidence and said that maybe the problem i have ttc is due to being at home constantly thinking about it in part
think she has a point what do you girls think?

sorry i know i am asking lots of questions but i need to know that there is a point to me or if i should just give it up and never speak of kids again?

Really sorry I can't back read ladies - it's been the day from hell at work and I am STILL here.

Razwaz - That looks like a TLP to me Get a digi woman!!

Also, just found a bit of blood streaked CM. I have never had that before in my life! I always get cramps then straight into flow so I am guessing AF is about to start.

Rumfeeble - have you tried the Clearblue Fertility Monitor?

Apologies if you already have, but it does help to take a lot of the 'guesswork' out of ttc at the right times. I think if you have fairly regular cycles/no gynie issues etc it is a pretty nifty tool for conceiving.

You can pick one up second hand on ebay for less than a brand new one, it's the sticks that actually cost the money.

So sorry you are feeling so low. I don't think anyone embarking on ttc can possibly know how tough a roller coaster it can be.

I think people automatically assume you just need to stop using contraception, and bonk a few times and Bob's your uncle! How wrong they are.

Grr - my hotmail email has been hacked and has sent dodgy emails to all my contacts! There were so many people in there - all the stallholders from when I organised a craft fair, loads of people from church, HR people from another company I got offered a job at last year - now they all think I'm selling p0rn & viagra!!

where is AF? I hate this part of my cycle where the two week wait turns into a three week wait! I'll get the thermometer out again next cycle to avoid this I think!

Oooo excited for you RazWaz!! And after reading your post on it taking up to 12 days for implantation. I think technically I could be in the same boat!

So CD42!! No AF and nO signs of it either. However, belly feels really strange and I keep getting funny feelings. It's like fluttering butterflies. Had the feeling all through the night and all this morning.

I have 1 digi left but no others. Oh what to do...
