All of my friends say that they only fell pregnant the month that they had sort of 'forgotten' that they were TTC, argh i just feel like punching them in the face as they sit there and tell me that with their beautiful baby sat on the lap (just joking, i'm not violent honestly, i love my friends and their babies !!). But even when i try and relax and have loads of other stuff going on in my life, i still can't help but notice the ov signs !!

    Aww ladies.... stay positive !!

    I couldn't agree more!!
  • Morning gang.

Thanks for all the messages of support, I do really appreciate them and it does help to know that it's not just us that struggle sometimes.

On the positive side, I finally got my smiley this morning which I was excited momentarily about, then the dread of having to go through what we did last night hit me, and I now have a knot of stress in my stomach that won't go away..not good.

OH knows the score, and I know he'll give it a go this evening, but I fear the same thing will happen again and it'll be even worse as today really is the day for this month. I asked him last night if maybe he 'sorted himself' a bit to the point of ahem..you know..might help and he thought it might, so that will be our backup plan..how very romantic, bt to be honest, and it sounds awful, I really DO just want OH's sperm this week! Romance, lust etc can wait till anytime after this week!

Please send me positive BD'ing vibes girls for this evening!

Tinks - I am thinking of you today adn sending all the love and luck I can muster up xxx
Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..
  • I'm also hoping that as we DTD Saturday, if I am due to ov tomorrow then there is a slight chance some of the swimmers may still be alive and waiting for tomorrow as I've read they can live up to 5 days...clutching at straws I know!

BFN again this morning. Looks like I am out this month, so I will be the same as you next month with the DTD at ov time MV. I wish I could relax about it all, but I can't. At least I know that we did all we could this month, so its not 'our' fault. Just one of them things >sigh<

Feeling sad. Might have a wallow today. DH says its not over til AF arrives, but no point prolonging hope at this stage I don't think. :(

Abis - massive hugs for BFN.

I got another BFN today too. Am fed up today. Going to docs next week for bood tests 3 weeks early now as AF still hasnt shown. Ive all the signs but no BFP to show for it.

mrsj - our next FS appt is at the end of november. I think we'll be advised to go to ICSI then. I've got clomid and met till then, but tbh I think that's just so we think we're doing something, they're not going to work with SA results that low.
pomme - I totally know what you mean about the 'relax' comments. I feel like replying "I can relax all I want but it's not going to grow sperm is it!?" It would be some flaming good relaxation technique that could cure dodgy ovaries.
MV - big hugs hun. It's so hard when you know you 'have' to BD and you just put all this pressure on yourself, then it's the last thing you actually fancy doing. Hope it all goes ok this evening. Just remember - you're on the same side, even if it really doesn't feel like it at ov. time!
tinks - wishing you all the luck in the world for the scan. Will be sending a little prayer your way.
abis - big hugs for BFN. Fingers crossed it's just a shy BFP.
teamlowe - love the idea of your niece faking burps! Bless :).

Feeling really delicate and tearful today, which my app says is consistent for around 4dpo. I knew logging my symptoms was a good thing.

hugs for MV - easier said than done and I hate to use the annoying and unhelpful "you need to relax" but... This kind of stress can delay ov. I know whats happened lately is rubbish but I think you're putting too many eggs in the "must conceive this month" basket. Poor analogy maybe. Know all about the ttc lack of performance issue and its awful. Sorry if you find this unhelpful but I'm getting stressed just reading your posts and I'm guessing you're hitting the ceiling.

Hugs for the BFN abis and scoobs.

Sorry about the poor sa, tea lover.

  • MV & Tealover - Big Hugs. I know exatly what you mean about having your age against you. I am 38 very soon and the time is flying by so quickly. It creates huge pressure every month.

Abis & Scoobs- Got my fingers crossed for you. Show ain't over till the witch shows up;)

Tinks - Very best of British Luck today Tinks.

I have a docs appointment booked for tomorrow. I haven't been to see a doctor (except to get my implanon implant in and the out) for about 12 years and I am stressing already. Hoping they can give me something to shorten my cycles and perhaps get OH checked out. Can you just request a SA?

    Morning all,

Very quickly nipping in to wish Tinks lots of luck.

Hugs for all the BFN's and general sadness everyone is feeling.

I handed in my notice yesterday and I am so glad I did. It is the right decision and I am just really looking forward to the end of October. Yay
