Being a bit soppy here, but I just wanted t say thank you to all you lovely ladies for being here to support everyone. I can't imagine how stressful the last 3 months would have been without the support here :) so thank you and hugs to you all :)

Yay :T Glad you are feeling a bit chirpier abis!

Sometimes these threads are a great place for a chat/cheer up :)

In my head you are medically trained (because I'm allowed to accept your advice that way...) so for now, Doctor Abis, please don't tell me otherwise :rotfl:

p.s. forum guides.. we are just having a laugh... not giving/taking medical advice... so don't delete our posts :D

I feel the same Razwaz. Don't know what I would do without these boards sometimes.

    Ok, that does it.

    Dodgy hug time!!

:eek: I hope the forum guides don't actually read our posts about botty pain, how to find your cervix and what our cervical mucus is like :eek:

I was about to reply on the miscarriage support board that were you asking for a second opinion on my expertise, and then I saw it was written at the same time as my post, so I decided to let you off the hook :rotfl::rotfl:

Yeah, I seem to be the only honest one amongst us- me and DH (and the cat I guess) have been Team Lowe since we got engaged :rotfl

MrsJ they like you to wait one cycle, I think it's more to sort your head out than anything else, a fresh cycle seems like a fresh start. They have scans for dating but I'd want to be sure of my dates if I was going for a six week one as Abis said, you won't see a heartbeat if it's too early and you'd just worry

I do worry the erly reassurance scan I was promised with my next pregnancy has an expiry date and I'm not guna get it now cos they won't remember me. Then again DH promised me a private scan if that'll reassure me, he feels guilty for not being in board with that last time and we would've found out soon if we had had one that the baby had died :o

With DH being on board with the scheduled BDing and the sort of green light from the gynae Im feeling very optimistic about this month, like it's our first month trying again.
Also, we had wonderfully cuddly BDing before and had to go to the loo pretty much straight away but umm..nothing seemed to fall out. And nothing really has since, it's like phantom semen! :rotfl: x x

Or SUPER KEEN sperm which swam so quick they are already in your fallopian tubes ready and waiting (and managed to take all the semen with them) :rotfl:

Thanks for the advice too - I am so undecided but think we will end up just letting what will be...be... It's a tricky one but I am just feeling so desperate to be pregnant now :o

Hi ladies  am loving the PMA on the thread at the moment - fingers crossed for lots of BFPs soon! But no SSing...naughty....!!

We had another unprotected BD last night... we are not doing very well at not trying...I think part of the problem is that it took quite a while for me to get pregnant in the first place so we a) don't expect it to happen quickly again and b) don't want to pass up an opportunity [STRIKE]and c) DH hates using condoms!!![/STRIKE] I know they suggest waiting one cycle before trying after a miscarriage, but as I understand this is purely for dating purposes (and to avoid the associated stress with thinking you are a certain number of weeks but actually being less/more). Does anybody know if there is any other reason we should wait? No EWCM or anything yet, and I'm normally a late OV-er, so if there are any risks then we'll start behaving!

If its just for dating purposes then they clearly dont realise that advice should be altered for women on forums like this who know exactly what their dates are :rotfl: Its not like we dont obsess over them lol!

While we're on the subject of TMI-conversations :rotfl:

Do you guys get regular smears? I've just been invited for my first one and wonder if I should do that before we TTC again.

I felt the same :o although my counselling helped me realise that was because i wanted to be better again, to erase the pain of the miscarriage, go back to when things were 'normal'. But a new baby wouldnt have changed anything, i have a new sort of normal now, as Abis said, a lot less naive and a lot more cautious. And stronger, I hope, my worst nightmare has happened and I got through it.

Not that I'm saying that's what you're doing, just that things can be ok no matter when your forever baby comes to you

Oh and I did give his bits a pep talk before we began so maybe I inspired his sperm to be super keen lol x x
