Ah I see. It was the same with DH, he didn't want to go, but as we went private, he didn't have to go to the clinic for the SA, I got the pot for him:cool:

I was thinking the same COMP!! is that all I am! No, can't be right, it feels like sooo much longer!!!
I will try a sneaky wee test on the 19th as DH goes away that day although I am not expecting to see anything encouraging and I think with DS I was about 14 days after I think I OV I got my +ve....

Hi ladies! Ive been keeping up with you all!

I had my erpc eight weeks ago after an mmc at nine weeks. It took my hcg levels until today to hit zero!!!!! Now I can feel af on her way and I'll be back in the ttc game!

Fingers crossed I won't be back long, in the nicest possible way xx

lilymay, normal LP is between 10-16 days.

you're well always telling me what to do! But yes, we're lucky in that DH's career is flying and we're in the position that my wage is completely spare, so he keeps saying 'you can quite tomorrow, you can quit tomorrow' which doesn't help when i'm having bad days at work. but i have a house deposit to save!
they're 'reviewing' my department and we'll know in December who they need to lose, so i was saying to DH that i wouldn't want to volunteer and say, yeah i'll go next august and then find out i could have saved someone else's job if you get me.

and of course, sod's law as always, we'll have saved enough for a house deposit by about mid-march. so we'll have the money, but might not be able to get a mortgage if i'm at risk of redundancy. if i'm made redundant, i'm happy to get a little cornershop/maccy's job to get the mortgage but obviously 'at risk' leaves me in limbo. will have to see what happens and what a broker says. why don't i have a crystal ball again? lol
orrr DH could apply for the mortgage by himself but i'll be providing some of the money so don't think they'll let that happen x x

Thanks for answering my CBFM question QQ. Am i right in saying you still need to turn it off and on each day though? And if it asks for a stick, you dont necessarily have to giv it one?

Goodvibes i work for the NHS as well but work f/t 5days a week. Part time isnt an option as two work colleagues have been on off maternity last year and come back requesting it and were denied it due to the loss of a f/t post for budgets. It would be all or nothing for me.

Weve just sold our house as well and need to sav up for another so nothings not an option.

Teamlowe, I think your OH can use your money and get the mortgage in his name only. Some banks are a bit more lenient as to where a deposit comes from now. Only thing is ud probably want your name on the mortgage too so that might be a better idea.

Thanks for the guardian article time2. I could just see DHs face if i told him he needed to cover his bits in jam! Although on the other side i could see why he would think that could be a good idea:D
