For unreported income. One doesn't usually report stolen income to the IRS, so this should get '(Text removed by MSE Forum Team)' into serious tax trouble.

Just realised she shares the dubious pleasure of using the same address in basingstoke gc 's pc's ( Gary cooper) used to.

Wow, now there is a blast form the past
  • Wow! I am one of the original posters on this thread, I was conned out of £175 by bank transfer back in July and reported Them to Action Fraud. I just happened to check back to see if anyone else had had any luck getting their money back and am so amazed to see how this case has progressed!!!

I made my payment to a Santander account. Was this person using different accounts?

Hope this thief gets banged up for a very long time. Guess we will never see our money again though.

    Very well done everyone!!

She is known, as is her address, and many, many other things that we cannot publish on this site. However, her details exist elsewhere where they cannot be removed.

Also, it is looking like she is going to do some jail time. Arrests are being made here. Soon in Florida. We are all going to have a big online party when 'Liz' goes to jail.

Once convicted, can we start publishing her name on this site? Anyone know?
  • I am one of the original "Bank transfer" customers from last summer too and like Anna I paid into an account that "Liz" said was with Santander. I didn't ever check through my bank if the sort code was for Santander and I know that Annette paid into a Lloyds account so wonder if they may be using more than one account. I gave all the details to Action fraud so I hope the investigating officers will access all our information through those initial phone reports.
I am really impressed with all the detective work and perseverance of many people on this thread, thank you for all your hard work (you know who you are!) :)

I will continue checking in to see what happens and I've got the bubbly in the fridge for the big day...

Lets hope she gets more than "Trick or Treaters" knocking on the door very soon!

Thanks, Maz. One thing, 'Liz' monitors this thread with a kind of slavering fanaticism. So she knows what's coming. I hope it ruins her weekend and ultimately ruins her life. Now that's justice!
  • The police have told me that 2 arrests were made at an address in High Wycombe yesterday, but unfortunately won't give me any more details.

I am combing the local newspaper's website, but can't find any information unfortunately.

Good news. Now those people will be interviewed and questioned to see if there is a case to answer, etc.

PS: I just rang [name removed] answer phone. As you may recall he had a message last month that he was on annual leave till October 4.

Well, his new message says he's now on annual leave till November 7! Yes, I will bet he is. They have a little saying in the US (pay attention 'Liz',) when someone goes to jail they call it 'Taking a vacation.' I am sure he's probably not in jail, but you can bet he's have to take the week to sort out his, ahem, difficulties!
