after that email was sent, which was a strong direct approach kind of email, demanding not to be passed onto the cancellations department but for the cancellations department to read the email and call me.
I was phoned up by someone who never queried me about it only knowing that I want to cancel it, put me thru to cancellations department but the person I was put through to knew my intentions and never asked why I want to cancel.
However, unknowingly my tariff had been changed twice, it changed to the first offer given with 275 mins and 250 texts without my knowing, and then yesterday it changed again to the simplicity tariff, again without me knowing or giving a go ahead.
Anyways got a PAC code address to send a letter to.
It's a shame since I would have liked a negotiated contract but being told I would be phoned back twice and didn't got me mad, which made me send a pretty harsh email. Oh well I went through the upgrade in the wrong manner, so my fault.
How do I check what my tariff is?0 -
Don't feel sorry about being harsh; they are abysmal and treat their customers with disdain, attempting to make it virtually impossible to give proper and adequate notice to cancel at the end of a contract's term. There are better places to go for a contract now.0

where would you suggest getting a contract from mobilejunkie?
I was looking at the e2save auto cashback ones that works out £6.12 a month for 12 months, but not sure whether to trust them on it.
It seems I just can't get a away from the cpw group lol.0 -
Mobiles2yourdoor are a much safer bet now in my view - as long as you know what you're doing and keep on top of things.0

thanx mobilejunkie will take a look at them0

I sent mine on 15 May, by Recorded Delivery. I have just checked on line and my item is 'currently progressing through our network'. That might explain why I have not received a text from CPW. I will give them a call on Tuesday and, if necessary, send another copy of the bill. Thank goodness, there is a 60 time window for this.
Excuse me for my ignorance but how do you check your cashback status online?:beer:0 -
I've just been offered the 600 minutes, 1000 texts, unlimited internet, £10/month, 24 month contract by retentions. No new handset. I had to argue against cashback. Claiming cashback involves the special delivery costs which have to be factored into the bottom line figure, so £10 is ok (ish). I could wait for the written terms to come through, then have another go. Three will do mins/texts & a new handset for an effective £11/month after 'loyalty' discount. Anybody improved on the 600/1000 £10/month deal without claims?0

I originally got offered 200 mins 400 texts and then a bolt on 1 month later of another 200 mins this was £5 a month on an 18 month contract. I accepted this but then phoned back 7 days later to see if they could offer anything better got offered 400 mins unlimited landline calls and 1000 texts for £5 months on 24 months contract with no phone I accepted this as it would cost me more on pay as you go.0
