I would say that is a fantastic offer especially if you take the Nokia N73. The N73 is a very expensive phone. Are you sure its not a refurbished/clearance phone though?

    A very good package.

Just out of interest, do you know which CPW staff offered you that deal? or their contact number?

They are meant to be NEW phones not refurb (my k750i was a refurb).

N73 is a good looking phone - I was interested in the Sat Nav feature you can install on it but not sure how it all works etc

He told me has the D900 but said the K800i is the best out of the three phones.

I have his name/number. PM me if you want it

    PM sent :)

They do deals on clearance phones as well on upgrades but personally I don't tend to do for them as I like new handsets :)
It is a good deal but I am a bit worried about not having anything in writing - ie. if they don't pay up the cashback.

They can email it to you. I would personally get it in writing first and then take the offer just in case they deny it afterwards. It has happened to lots of people.

    I've been offered 400mins + 100 text @ £35pm with £300 cashback so £120 for the year with either K800i / D900 / N73 - have to sent in bills btw.

Phones are good etc but not sure if I really need all those features
    .
Currently have a K750i and need a new phone coz the joystick sticks sometimes otherwise I would just sell the new one on Fleabay.

Anyone think this is a good offer?

:j Hi Whacojackouk, This Looks a great offer to me. I am to get upgarde this month with only a week or so in hand. Can I get the customer support exec's contact detials by PM PLEASE!

I have just spent 40 minutes on the phone to this ppl , and the best offer they came up with was £100 cash back on a 12 month contract with a Se K800 with a new phone or a £210 cash back with a clearance phone, No need to ask me what my response was......Anyone got any good idea as to how to get a good deal off them.Is it because it's the end of the month and they have all reached their monthly bonus target. They also gave me my disconnection refrence number after 12 months of paying £40-£50 bills

I got offered some silly deals - which I didn't take up because the cashback is redemption based (i.e. you have to send your bills to claim etc.)

CPW don't make it easy for you to cancel the contract - you have to ring in advance and then in writing giving 30days notice by recorded delivery etc.

I'm beginning to dislike CPW
  • I think as long as you can find a better offer to bid them down with. i found some good deals on the likes of mobilesquad.com.t

Dont think you will get away from chequeback deals with cpw. Thats just the way they work, whereas o2 like to give more mins or texts.

I accepted an offer for the £25 - 1000 off-peak tariff with a new SE w810i with £270 cheque back in Jan this year making it £30 for the year with a new phone.

My other offer in October last year was a Samsung E370 on £8.50 - 400 off-peak minutes plus a £150 cheque back making it £48 profit for the year and a new phone!

Speak to about 3/4 different CPW staff on different days. Every CPW staff is different.

You should see some differences in deals.

Just rang up and got a good deal.

    I was on O2 400 (12mth) + 400 text bundle. So cost about £62

Have now changed to O2 800 (18mth). So get 800 mins, 500 texts for £40 per month. Also got a Nokia N95 for free
