I'll say this once more. On the wiring loom from the stereo to the connector block (where you then plug in your wiring harness adaptor), the yellow wire is not the ignition wire. You shouldn't have touched any wires beyond the loom (i.e. on your wiring harness adaptor or car wires). You should only swap the orange and red wires on the loom which came with the stereo, as these are the permanent live and the ignition. As stated in my previous post, the yellow is ignition AFTER the loom (i.e. on your wiring harness adaptor). Most car audio manufacturers stick to the same colour coding on their wires. That way, everyone knows where they are and what wires are meant to go where. However, on the cheaper makes (such as this), they don't use the same colour coding on all the wires. So, instead of having a yellow wire that is for ignition, you've got either a red or an orange wire.
If you don't believe me, pop down to Halfords. They'll sort out your stereo and your blown fuse. They are open until 8pm.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

How much do you think they'll charge?0 -

Well, I went down to my local Halfords and they looked at the stereo for free. They'll probably charge you £3 or so for sorting out the fuse (plus the cost of the fuse). The bloke in my local got all sorted of wiring looms out to show me how most manufacturers use the same colours on their looms to avoid confusion, but the Tevion's wiring was different. In a rut? I think they're the same as the ones aldi had - we got one but it disagreed with the fiat - it would turn on when the door button was used.. so it went back.0

Turn AF off - it's a blue button on the left hand side of the stereo. That's the auto frequency kicking it - trying to detect a better signal. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

It works fine in fiats (as this thread attests). You just needed to swap the red and orange wires over (memory and ignition). In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

            Hi
got mine yesterday, got my peugeot 206 old blaupunkt out today, theres 3 separate connectors in the back, 2 black 1 white and the aerial end is different (where can I get an adaptor?) so judging by the positioning of the lugs on the peugot connectors 1 black one and 1 white one will fit in to the supplied connector whats the 3rd one do?? seems to be 5 thinner wires than the others?? anybody any ideas?0 -

You'll get the aerial adaptor from Halfords. The other connector could be for steering remote? Not sure, to be honest. When you pop along to Halfords for your aerial connector, ask them to have a quick look. They'll normally do this for free.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
