For me, for this price, you have to expect it to not be perfect. Others complain at the smallest things, but for me - when you pay for a fiat, don't expect a ferrari!

Well, I for one certainly am not complaining about the stereo as I think it is fab value for money, but your Fiat/Ferrari comparison is a bit daft IMO - if you buy a Fiat, you expect it to perform like a Fiat, likewise, if you buy a Blaupunkt stereo then you expect it to do almost everything bar make the dinner (so to speak!) because you do get what you pay for.

Equally though, if you buy a cheapo stereo that is supposed to have the ability to tune into at least 6 radio stations and play CD's Mp3s etc then you expect it to do that, regardless of whether it cost you £129, £29 or 29p.

As with anything you buy, it has to be fit for its intended purpose and do 'as it says on the tin' else you wouldn't buy it.

    gertybertyangel..........daft...........Hmmmmm......username......pot...........black......kettle........

They all seem to fit into a sentence somewhere - if I just wasn't so 'daft' I could have put them in a sentence...

Yeah but if the wing mirror falls off the Fiat, or the parts of the dash comes apart, you sort of expect it with a Fiat!:rotfl:

It will tune into stations if you connect it correctly - this is partly down to the block you buy as well, so not entirely the manafacturer's fault.

Blimey- you are an uppity sort of person aren't you! :rotfl:

I can't even see why you are being so 'off' with me - is the word 'daft' rude wherever you come from or something? I could have said stupid bl33din comment instead of 'daft' but I wasn't trying to be rude in the first place. So if my username is daft then !!!!!! is yours?!!! :rotfl:

You replied to my question a couple of weeks ago and I then replied that my problem wasn't strictly the same as previous ones and therefore did you, or any other poster have any idea how to correct my problem, but you seem to have an issue with me for some reason.

If you don't know the correct answer then why bother to reply in such an ignorant manner? I have googled the problem and looked at AV Forums to no avail. I haven't rang Tech Support as I haven't got around to it cos as previously explained, the problem isn't urgent - I don't use the radio often and I just saw that this thread had come up again so it was just a query that I will rectify fully when I can be bothered.

So, to anyone who CAN read correctly, please see my question as posted earlier, and for the record, I have switched the wires as mentioned earlier in the thread and still BOTH stereos will only tune into 2 of the stations.

Wish I had never thanked you for your help a few days ago now - shame that there isn't an 'unthank' button on here!

I am going to unsubscribe from this thread as I can't be doing with petty squabbles with the faceless ones so if any of you lovely people on here can help, please PM me and I'll be very grateful for your help. :)

    I'm outta here...

Daft generally is an insult (on the planet I live on anyway) - and after I helped you and all....don't bother to unthank me, you already have done that.

Goodbye, we will miss so much :D

lowdenclear, does your Zen have a setting to make it appear as a mass storage medium, instead of as an mp3 player? I have a sansa that has to be switched to this when i want to hook it up to something!
How do you do that with a sansa m260

Yup I have experienced this aswell - it skips to the next track halfway through a song - I tried clearing all the songs on my usb and putting them back on but it got even worst as it wouldn't even recognise any of the mp3's on there. I actually thought I was the only one
are you sure you haven't got the intro button on

It does seem to skip over some tracks, it seems random at first but always the same song. You can try to re write it to the memory card, but no help
