just found this, http://www.fascin8.co.uk/MP3/5932.htm
isn't it great what you can find out there to help you. Saves a few quid paying some garages/audio places0 -
having looked at the threads for this item, I'm wondering whether I would need to make any modifications to my cavalier (94 L Reg model) in terms of ISO connectors or not?
Tried to put in a Blaupunkt Nevada CD-Radio player in this and could not get an decent radio signal even though I could play CDs ok-ish. I had assumed that the plug at the back would be a str8 forward job but having rwad the posts it seems a tad more techincal now.
Any advice would be greatkly appreciated.

Not unless I've changed my name to Sylvia and moved to Trowbridge - Think I'll stick with ShopNeo - seems a much more secure site!
they are ok if they actually have in stock what you want.
just looked for three different items and each was out of stock.
i'll stick with svp for now
thanks anyway
as for this car stereo ive read bad reports about it sounding awful and tinny with no real bass.0 -

i dont think the iso connector has anything to do with radio signal strength, that would be down to the antenna plug/cable wouldnt it?. my w reg toyota suffers from poor radio signal too0 -
A friend fitted this yesterday and I have to say for £40 this is a fantastic radio. Tested everything and USB works fine with my iRiver H140, aux-in works, SD card read off my 2gb card and the CD player works all lovely. No problems with hiccups on the radio either. All-in-all, an excellent radio.
Fitting to a 2000 Honda Accord we had to swap the orange and red wires to retain settings as many others have. Also due to the Honda having an electronic extending aerial we had to find a way to get it to trigger as there's no connector on the headunit for the aerial trigger cable. In the end we used the yellow connector on the ISO end and wired that to the trigger cable and everything works well. Hopefully that helps anyone else with a Honda Accord.0 -
Worse thing I ever did was to purchase this ! And deal with that company.
Mine didnt look new to start with then turned out to have 2 faults on it after 2 days of it been fitted.
Called and spoke to there technical people who agreed it was faulty and to send it back, i asked for a refund as i didnt want a replecment, so i daid as they said and sent it back with a letter stating this and the fact that the guy i spoke to said they would pay postage also.
EDIT - One fault was poor signal strenth ! Plug the old radio back in perfect with that thing could oly pick up a few very local stations with my other loads more, nothing to do with my aerial as the old radio works fine.
Few days later another turns up ! Sent them e-mails, they were been read but no replys so i Called them and they must have not read the letter the guy said send it back and i would get a full refund along with postage again.
Few days later i got a refund for the amount less the postage, i have sent them yet another e-mail was read but no reply. I will give them till friday before i kick off good style at them !
NEVER buy from them0 -
