anyone know what the yellow wire does on the wiring adapter? mine has come with the yellow wire snapped out of the connection block...it wont go back in, wondering if theres anything i could do, or will i need to return it?

when i tried it in my car i got absolutely no power, its a Fiat Stilo. does this mean i have to swap the wires over?

on my wiring adapter the red and black wires go into the fuse box and then come out the other side but dont go into the stereo, is this correct?

Getting into new entry level kenwood prices there, it's only the SD/USB input that makes 'em look atractive.... ordered 2 meself never the less ;)
That VAT stuck on the end is a bit pony!

I doubt the USB will support large 2.5" hard disks on these models. Still good for the money though considering I just paid £210 for a Pioneer P7900UB which has this as probably the main advantage.

    1. Every time I load a data cd full of MP3 file, although it plays them ok, it ocassaionally cut out and then kicks back in, its only for a second, but happens half way in between a song which is annoying. Has anyone else had this problem (maybe I have a duff unit)

    2. While playing MP3's from a USB key, it appears to have a bug whereby it will only play a few minutes of a track and then move onto the next one. This only seems to happen if the system was powered off and then on at a later time (ALthough to resolve this I have to press the RESET button)

Any thoughts, suggestions, experience of this, please let me know.

Yup I have experienced this aswell - it skips to the next track halfway through a song - I tried clearing all the songs on my usb and putting them back on but it got even worst as it wouldn't even recognise any of the mp3's on there. I actually thought I was the only one

Received mine today swapped the two wires in the connector and it works fine apart from playing Mp'3  have tried a 1gb Kingston Elite Pro SD and a Scandisk Ultra 2gb SD card but when i have tried them in the player it says memory card but doesn't do anything:confused: ? I have tried pressing the APS button to select the folder etc but it still doesn't do anything.

Has anyone else used one of these cards sucessfully?

I have also tried two USB memory sticks but it does the same

    Any sugestions appreciated

Sent it back and got a replacement works fine now:j
