that sounds highly unusual. I have bought quite a lot off them, even since this thread started. I found that if you have any problems they tend to be very helpful on the phone. It may have happened in production or transport I suppose, there must be a reason how they can roll these out so cheap!
As for their delivery schedule, it has been a bit hit an miss for me, some things come the next day, others can take around 2 weeks. In fairness though, you read their ordering information it does say that it can take up to 2 weeks (depending on security and other rubbish
). Cant complain at that price and free delivery. I am making a great profit out of them at the moment. I have just learnt to buy in advance of listing on eBay, otherwise I would upset my customers if I quoted an unachievable delivery schedule.
They seem to store their products in various depots across Europe and they have to bring it in as it is required, that is why it can take up to a few weeks.0 -
Just had a look after your advice seems they've gone up to £39 + vat
Around £46 now, so will probably end up having a look on Ebay instead and get a better brand name, seen some sony etc on there.
Rest of the stuff on there doesn't look that cheap either.0 -
Looks like I got it just in time then! Phew!0

If it's the same one I'm looking at it's now £390

Generally fitting a standard din car stereo is a piece of cake, you just need the right connecting lead (somewhere between £10 and £20 in halfords, tho you may be lucky and find that your car already has ISO connectors, saving you this expense)
HOWEVER it's always worth checking to see if anyone else ever had problems...
http://www.usedcarmart.co.uk/forum/archive/index.php/t-2995.html for example.
Have a read and decide if you're confident in doing this yourself. The stereo takes about a week for delivery going by other posters, so your dad may be back just in time to do it for you!

hi thanks for the advice! :beer:0 -
Hey all.. My stereo is due for delivery today..
I've just received my 4GB SD card.. And realised its SDHC. Is the stereo compatible?I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!0 -
Hi. Does anyone know if it's possible to increase the volume of the aux in? I currently have my ipod set to max volume, and the stereo to max, with "loud" setting on, and its ok (although I only get sound from my left speaker with this input, and if I change the balance bias to the right to even things up, the overall volume is too low!) Thanks0

Has anyone else spotted their Returns Policy which reads;
" If you are not satisfied with the product you purchased, you can return it to us within 7 days of receiving the item, and we will refund your original payment* in the form of a store credit receipt. "
I believe that is in breach of the Sale of Goods Act, I am fairly sure a " Store Credit " is not acceptable.0 -
I installed mine yesterday, but it is not working as well as I would like.
The clock has not set itself from RDS and there is terrible interference on Radio 4. Also there seems to be a popping sound every 30 seconds or so on other frequencies. Looks like it will be coming out again tonight.
This was replacing another Tevion radio which had none of these problems, but lost all its setting when the temperature got bellow freezing.
Anybody else having these problems? I want to know if there is a design fault or if I just have a bad one, so that I can decide whether to go for a replacement or refund.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.

If it's faulty you can get a refund. If you just don't fancy it they aren't obliged to offer you a full refund unless their own policy states that they will, I think.
Kind of odd thing to look up when you're buying something.0
