:T Well said Churchmouse! Interestingly that spiteful thread seems to be having some probs loading! Seems very just!;)

I beg your pardon, spiteful  This is the board that suggests that the Arms is not a pleasant place to be?

I'm guessing one dolphin looks pretty much like another and in fact probably are even the same dolphin from the nursery at Seaworld but I doubt anyone else will have the same Cow Parade photos that I have :D

Evening all - looks like I missed a hell of a day here - will maybe read back if I have time. In the meantime can I share a conversation had with 10yo dd on the way to school this morning. She has been in some trepidation all year as its s*x education soon. Well this morning she brooded "what if they show us a picture of a p*n*s though mummy - what then" - "well" says I all liberated openminded mummyishy, "So what if they do - lots of people have them and we can talk aobut anything you don't understand" "oh well" says she ,"Its all very well for you to be like that - I haven't seen a p*n*s before and you've seen loads!"
With any luck we'll be back to talking aobut dr who tomorrow
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

Thanks for the laugh stefejb, dontcha just love the things they come out with. I think that's one you should write down so you can embarrass her with it in years to come.

Many years ago when my stepdaughter was only about 8, she was in my bedroom, and I wanted to get dressed but I was a bit embarrassed about getting dressed in front of her. She hadn't seen my naked before. Anyway, she showed no signs of moving, so I took a deep breath and got on with it.

When I took my nightie off, she started to giggle. I have very big boobs (34GG) and I thought she was giggling at them, so I asked her what was so funny. She told me it was because I didn't have any hair under my arms.

So I said, "Oh, that's because I shave the hair off. Doesn't mummy shave under her arms?"

She said "No". And after a long and thoughtful pause added "She washes under them sometimes".

Her poor mum would have been mortified to know that her daughter was implying she only washed occasionally!

Darling SD is 27 now, so I think I might remind her about this soon.

RIght, been a long day today what with this thread, and me reducing our huge sprawling pampass to nearly nothing. Thank goodness for OS, we had lots of homeade ready meals in the freezer to choose from for tea tonight. Arms and back to tired to think about cooking planned meal!

    Evening all,

Happy Anniversary Taplady. I'm glad you enjoyed your special day.
Just got home from Bingo and won a bottle of wine :D. DH has just come in ready for bed but I'm not tired. Hope the clicking of the keyboard doesn't annoy him. :p

I thought while the initial suggestions of the thread were valid, the thread in the arms was very unkind and uncalled for. I can understand how some would get very hurt and offended. It's so easy to punch away at a keyboard and press submit.

Well off to have a wee surf before I hit the sack. Byeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

I've just come back and skimmed over this thread.

If anything, what this little argument shows is the necessity of the arms and dt boards, because people DO tend eventually to post one liners and idle small talk. If we left only the serious money boards, this sort of spat would be rife all over the forums.
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.
