What commands does your dog know?

You're all very polite with your animals. Mine gets selective deafness until I say any of following which tend to elicit a fairly swift response:
!!!!!! off
Leave your foot alone
Put it down you little sod
You are really starting to p1ss me off now.
NNOOOO - at full volume.
And the "f" word. (which isn't my fault, she knew that one before I got her.)All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Our dog suffers from selective hearing too.0

LOL, My boy knew the F off command when we got him too.
He knows all the usual commands:
sit
stay
please
big please
right paw
left paw
roll over
smile (Elvis grin)
come
no
leave it
tell OH (he goes to my OH)and pester him:D
Are you hungry or thirsty? Hungry, he goes to the kitchen, thirsty, he goes to the bathroom as he prefers to drink running water from the bath tap:rotfl:
Mention cheese, curry, chilli and I have one excited dog on my hands.
He lines stones and sticks up in one part of our garden and does the same at his granny's.
He only ever walks up and down stairs on the left.
He demands to go out at 8pm and has done so for the 10 years we've had him.
He barges into the bathroom when he hears the loo roll coming to an end and demands the cardboard tube.I'm not that way reclined
Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!0 -
Mine knows "sod off it's too early" and "get off me you idiot" he doesn't take any notice of them though

That did make m giggle, I'm glad I'm not the only person in the world who's dog understands "F**K off as a command! I'm doing him a disservice though, even though he's thick for a collie he still understands "find it" (ie: find a toy I've hidden), sit, (doesn't do down - can't because of his hips), heel (off lead) back (sometimes on lead - he's a terrible puller), come back, go on (he runs off as fast as he can) and he'll come straight back from whatever he's doing to a high pitched whistle.
The other dog I know she's not thick but she has the natural terrier stubborness, so she only knows sit, off (she's a climber - don't appreciate dogs on the kitchen side at all!) and of course F**k off lol!0 -
I've taught my JRT lots of commands. Whether he obeys them or not is another matter!4.30: conduct pigeon orchestra...0

In his younger days he'd got about 100 words and gestures. In his old age he's conveniently forgotten everything he's ever learnt.
His owner still knows "Get me a drink" "I want my dinner" "Fetch a biscuit" "Let me out" "I want some attention" "Go away - I'm off to sleep" :rotfl:Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -

We're fast approaching that scenario:(I'm not that way reclined

My 10yo dog went blind from diabetes last december, we taught her some new commands to help her.
Step: she flaps her paws till shes up the step/kerb.
Tree: she stops and walks around the obstacle (we walk her round a lake
)
Edge: she changes direction
She knows when its her insulin injection time as we say the rhyme "left in the morning, right at night" she will come over and stand still for her jab then gets a treat
The rhyme is really for us to remember what side to inject her on :rotfl: Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -
