Why should i go through hassle?

I have a receipt, most items including vaccum cleaners come with a 12 month guarantee

Why should there be a problem?

If it is that important you might imagine it would say so on that card.

And where does this say this? Is a receipt now an automatic 12 month guarantee? I wasnt aware of this.

I was under the impression that to get the 1 years guarantee you have to fill in a card from Vax..

I guess you can point out where you dont have to do this from now on then.

    I don't know

I 'm saying what is expected by the vast majority

Are you saying there isn't a 12 month warranty (sorry guarantee)?

What i've seen you say is yes the card will validate the guarantee. Do you have any more information which would back that up?

Like others have said it looks and has the 'feel' of a marketing attempt to get your details on record (for their own benefit)

If you like i am looking for an authoritative answer :)
  • There is one if you fill in the card.

No. But dont confuse that with your statutory rights which is what you are doing.

You are clearly implying that the receipt gives you an automatic guarantee - it doesnt.Filling out the card will give you that guarantee though.
