Is anyone exercising and finding it much easier? I do some stretches and haven't done in for a while before starting the diet, started doing them again on the weekend and doing many more reps than usual. I would expect to do some more but not this significantly and not after having done them for a while!
Might starting running again soon and see how that affects my PBs2p off is still 2p off!0 -

I just wanted to say make sure you are not getting dehydrated, that might make you feel pretty off-colour.0 -
Hi all!
Please remember to be very careful and check with your GP or other health professional before starting any diet that could affect your health.
Take care

I moved my fasting day to yesterday as I went to give blood today and was a little worried about how I'd feel, but after a good breakfast and lunch and plenty of water, I'm feeling cmpletely fine.:p Phew!I lost my job as a cricket commentator for saying “I don’t want to bore you with the details”.Milton Jones0 -
Today weighed 10st 11lb:) Trouble is that every weekend I put weight back on and start the week at 11st again:mad: I know it is my own fault, but I do love some nice food and a drink at the weekend:o
Therefore, my aim is to get down low enough so that I am still 10st something on a Monday morning.:)Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -

When you fast you lose water not fat, hence why you're experiencing the yo-yo measurements on the scales“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

I don't fast, I have 500 calories on two days per week;)
Since I started this diet I have lost about half a stone, just wish I could get away from the cusp of 10/11st!Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -

Same thing, 500 calories are still way below what the body needs to simply function so it calls on the body's reserves of glycogen. I won't go into the complicated biochemistry but basically as stored glycogen is used, water is also lost. People mistakenly assume it to be fat loss but this happens at a much slower and steadier rate, hence why you often hear that aiming for a 1-2lb a week loss is sensible and sustainable.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Same problem here
I try to plan my weekend treats so that they do not derail my good work during the week. I eat approximately 10500 a week so I eat less during the week and use the rest for weekends - just need to keep it up long enough to get to and stay at target :rotfl:Haters are gonna hate - you're not obliged to participate0
