Fasting tomorrow, couldn't get into the zero noodles, though only tried them twice and that was added to a soup, so probably better stir fried .
So am sticking with spinach to bulk up my meals, luckily I like spinach even the frozen spinach I use nowFollowing horizon 5-2 started 28/01/13 target where I am now ish
Maintaining now as DW doesn't want my legs to get any skinnier

That sounds yummy, do you have a recipe?0 -
Well a small loss for me this week of just under 1lb, but at least it's going in the right direction. I must admit I am finding the fast days a bit harder in this hot weather -not sure why? But I am sticking to them, just about.
I felt a bit disappointed with the weight loss slowing down, but when I checked back on all my records of BMI, waist measurements etc since January, it made me realise how far I had managed to come.
DH is doing well on the maintenance 5:2 having lost just under 2 stones and not needing to lose any more. He does, however, need to have 1.5 fast days a week instead of just 1 day, otherwise the weight starts to creep back. I suppose it's just about finding the right balance.
I will be fasting again tomorrow and am planning a smoked salmon salad. Hope I don't struggle as much as I did Monday. Good luck to all fellow fasters!Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

DH has a usual fast day on Monday, then on a Thursday, he will have a fast day breakfast but take a couple of sandwiches and some fruit for his lunch. When he comes home in the evening, he will have whatever fast day meal I am having and not eat anything else until 6 am the next morning. So the sandwiches & extra fruit are the part of his day where he doesn't add in the calories. probably this sounds a bit muddly, but it works for him.
Your weight loss is fantastic! I always keep an eye on how you are doing because you started at the same time as me. I'm about 13lbs behind you and about 7 lbs behind my DH, but still happy to continue the 5:2. even after nearly 6 months. It is so do able and is the longest I have ever stuck to any eating plan.
We have all worked so hard to get where we are now and for me I simply can't give up. Plus my blood pressure and pulse are really good too, much better than ever before. I believe that when you think so hard about how to make the most of your 500/600 calories it really makes you consider the foods you choose to eat. It has made me much more aware of calorific values and nutritional content. I don't take any other vitamin supplements because I get all I need from my food intake and my skin is better because I am drinking so much more water than I used to.Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

I find I'm fasting on non fast days without realising and I have to remember to eat. I need to eat something for lunch right now.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0
