    Do I spy a kettlebell?

    I love kettlebells :)

Well done on the body reshape though, awesome achievement!

42 KG kettlebell - see the figure downhill - that is one of the training group, he had to run to the trees and back and I had to keep doing upright rows with the KB. Other stations were rope pull up, KB press, handstand press ups against a tree, plank, mountain climbers. The timing was how fast the runner could get there and back.

Hi everyone, I'm still here, still fasting and still stuck at the moment. I think I may have to reduce my calories on non-fast days, because I just seem to be 'maintaining', but I am going to hold off doing this for a bit longer because I don't want to start stressing about calorie intake on non fast days. Hopefully this is just a blip albeit a rather long and tedious one.

I need to play catch up a bit with the posts, but everyone seems to be doing well. Keep going everyone -you are all my inspiration!

Fast day for me today which is going ok. Good luck to everyone else.

PS today I have starved on....
Breakfast a smoothie made with Homemade yoghurt, Mixed berries, low cal almond milk, half a banana and a a splash of orange juice .....scrummy.
During the day - Green Tea and lots of water.
Dinner was a Goat Cheese salad with the emphasis on a huge variety of coloured salad ingredients (I think lots of colour is good for you) Followed by a 2 wedges of water melon.
I will have a hot drink and one breadstick before bed and that takes me to 512 calories oops naughty naughty.........

    I've been Money Tipped!
Apart from my few currants from the bush, I held out until I came home and ate cherry tomatoes.

Dinner was a small left over of pumpkin curry, green salad, a courgette/ mushroom/gratin and a Sharon fruit.

The very seasonal courgette gratin is delicious and one of the few ways to get my children to touch courgette without making a face.
I slice them very thin with a mandolin, and dry fry them in a non stick pan with a stock cube. When the are soft and most of the liquid is gone, add a spoonful of reduced fat cream, grate a smidgen of Parmesan and pop under the grill.

The Courgette gratin sounds amazing! I think I need to give that a try.

Certainly,as long as you don't mind greyhounds. They end up looking food out your hands - another Calorie control.

Thought I was going to pass out in the gym today running. Their idea of air conditioning is to open all of two windows (though it looked like they were the only two that could actually open), then their showers aren't controllable so they're quite hot and by the time I'd got dressed I was still sweating :o

BUT I've lost 1.5lbs this week and it's Friday and I have 3 days off work after today so I am a very happy bunny right now :D

    Enjoy your weekend folks!

Just lost another 2lbs after my 2nd week doing 5:2. I find I'm generally less hungry on other days and have got out of the habit of eating anything just because it's there. Did indulge in a few naughties yesterday but also found there were other occasions when I just didn't want the junk. Even chose an omelette over my usual bacon barm which is unheard of for me!
  • Hiya - I've not posted for a while - but I am still 5-2ing. I had a break for a few weeks and there were times where I was doing 6-1. But I am very pleased to say that dispite this I have maintained my weight :j.

I am going to be back on 'properly' now as I would like to loose a bit more. I am really keen to loose my flabby middle - I carry my weight there and on my arms, which I know is the least healthy place to carry weight. Fast days this week Monday and Wednesday.

I've started to 'do' weights - not messing around with a piddly filled water bottle - but proper weights, I can see a difference to my arms already ! :D

Weigh in on Friday but no weight change for 3 weeks now, but the good news is went into Asda today and was able to fit comfortably in to a pair of 36" jeans:j so I think I can comfortably get rid of my 40" trousers :D
Following horizon 5-2 started 28/01/13 target where I am now ish :)
Maintaining now as DW doesn't want my legs to get any skinnier :D
    Total Loss=41.6lb
