It's my hubby's fast day today. He had a cup of tea for lunch, tea is a salmon stir fry and rice, then if there is any calories left over, he'll have some seafood sticks.0
-
I'm fasting today but I can't resist the last bit of cake I made on Sunday. :wall: It fits in with my 500 cal though. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

I've fasted today. It's been very easy because I've been on days so started at 6 then had to go straight in to town after work to take the car to the garage and I've only just got in. Am having some salmon with rocket and a couple of new potatoes out of the garden.
I am, however, wishing that I hadn't made pumpkin pie yesterday as I'm badly wanting a piece. I made the pastry from scratch too and it's lovely, even if I do say so myself0 -

I do sympathise. I can resist chocolate or other goodies but when its homemade its almost impossible. We shouldn't be such good cooks. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -
Do you ever get seduced into these worthless fad diets by the before and after pics. heres how it works
http://healthyurbankitchen.com/blog/seduced-by-the-illusion/I like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. (Milton H Erickson I think)0 -
Oh he's back! What exactly is your goal by posting all these things Mr helpful?0

Right I'm only going to dignify Mr Unhelpful with 1 reply and then I'll ignore him.
It's not worthless or a fad.
It's a life choice which some people find helpful.
I, for example, have lost 4kg in 6 weeks and feel great. My blood pressure is 105/68 which is very good, as the nurse commented could be due to my doing the 5:2 way of eating.
Today I treated myself to a size 10 dress in which I look pretty stunning!

Mr Helpful
I think we made it quite clear last time. You're entitled to your opinion but we disagree with you so you're wasting your time trying to convince us otherwise. Now please stop being rude and perhaps go and actually try to help some people who might appreciate it.
I for one will be ignoring your posts from now on!

That has nothing to do with this thread at all, can you not do something more useful with your time, like practice self-immolation.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett
