Lost 3lbs 2 oz last week, (this cancels out the 2lbs I gained last week ), as is often the case it is the non-fast days that I'm finding difficult. Total weight loss so far is 7lbs 6 oz.:D

It's been a long time since I've been consistent for this length of time, I'm also pleased that I didn't allow last week's gain to derail me. Fast day tomorrow or Wednesday and Saturday. Good luck to all who are fasting:)

FD on Monday but back up this morning to 150.2lb :( - I won't be able to manage another FD this week but maybe next week I can get three in & perhaps that will 'kick start' me :)
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Hi, I'm starting back on the 5:2 diet again after kind of losing track over the past few months.
I'm the heaviest I have ever been I think (outside of being pregnant) and want to drop back into the lowe end of a healthy BMI. So, I need to shift a stone to put me where I want to be and I reckon that fasting will help with this as constantly watching what I eat gets me down.

I have bought the 5:2 recipe book and there are loads of great ideas there. I fasted yesterday and had a boiled egg and asparagus for BF and then roasted veg with feta for dinner, plus a bit of milk in tea and coffee and two strawberries.

I'll fast again tomorrow but want my normal days to be Tuesdays and Fridays.
    Trying to keep in budget.

I'm on an unplanned fast day today. I was planning on having it tomorrow, but then got invited out for a Chinese! So far, feeling pretty good and not hungry at all, which I'm a bit surprised at. Planning on having a bit of veg in the middle of the afternoon if I get really hungry and then something this evening. Probably soup! If anyone has a £land near them, they had weightwatchers soup there yesterday, 2 for a £1. Usually I would make my own, but it's always handy to have a couple of cans in! It's only 100 kcals a can too.

Well done on the losses folks! :D

Fasted today. Had 6 cherry tomato's and some almonds at lunch then just had some scrambled egg on toast. Not felt hungry at all today really.

Went to the gym too. Been feeling guilty about not going to the gym. Since I felt crap two weeks ago I've been twice, down from 3 times a week.

Plan on going again on Friday, need to get myself back in the habit.

I fasted today, just had home made cottage pie with extra veg. Could have gone without food all day though - wasn't particularly hungry. Does anyone else find this on their fast days? I haven't gone without food but I could which amazes me really as I'm such an over eater when it comes to food! :o

How are people handling the fasting days? Any low energy levels?

I'm finding some of My fast days leave Me really cold and with no energy at all. Find it really hard when I feel like that. Other fast days I'm fine. Keeping at it as it definitely works:)

I get a little shorter of breath doing cardio, and take longer to recover from strength and conditioning exercises, I have some delayed onset muscle soreness today, also often feel cold same as Hollowhead above me.
