FD Yesterday & gone down a bit more
Decided to lower my target a little bit as I've still got a little bit of 'wobble' round the middle! Off to update my sig.
Have a good weekend everyone!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
Weigh in today and I have lost 1lb and 4 oz which takes me under 10st for the first time in years. That is an overall loss of 8lbs. Ideally I would like to get to 9st 7lbs. Surprisingly I am finding this easier and easier to stick to as time goes on. Its starting to feel perfectly normal to have fast days. Have a good weekend everyone."Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0

It's good to read it does get easier.
I am having my 2nd fast day and feeling a bit faint today. I had my 1st on Wed and that was fine, I went from about 7 the previous night until about 6 the next day and felt really good on Thursday. Ate sensibly last night as well as during the day, didn't feel hungry much yesterday but today I feel really hungry. I will do my best to try and get through until dinner tonight.0 -
I'm finding it easier now- (3rd month). I'm surprised how the 500 cals seems to stretch. I usually have a homemade veg stew or hearty soup for lunch and lots of leaves- a tomato and cucumber with 100 cals of meat. Recently used A packet of processed meat- turkey or beef with the calorie value on the pack. I eat celery in the morning if hungry. It seems so true that a lot of hunger is a bit to do with internal body clock. I might be a bit hungry at lunch time, but if busy and out somewhere , when I get back at 2pm I'm not particularly hungry. The same happens at tea time. The only problem is that I'm beginning to eat too many treats on non fast days. I'm not losing much, but if I ate all the treats without the fast days I know, I 'd put on about 2 lbs in a week - so staying nearly the same in weight gives me a more interesting diet than I had before. I'll have to get in the right frame of mind to cut some treats on the non fast days, to get the weight moving again.0

The Sun with another load of old tat, presumably... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/woman/4933461/8-hour-diet-lets-you-cheat-and-still-lose-up-to-10lb-in-a-week.html
Is it just me, or does that article not actually mention once what the '8 hour diet' even is???
I've read the whole thing and it goes on and on about the benefits and recipes, but doesn't say what the hell it is. Useless!:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0 -
Fasting today, have over 400 calories left for tea and some cod fillets may be involved. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett
