    Hi all
I have just finished 4 weeks today, and have lost 5lbs so far, hopefully another 1lb off tomorrow:) I've found it easy so far and can go all day to save my 500 for a big meal:p. It's going off slowly but I only need to loose a stone, so I am pleased so far, can't expect more than that. I have milk in teas and piles of veg, with couscous, so long as my plate is a big one I'm happy. I bulk up with frozen spinach and actually like it, I even put parmesan cheese on top:eek: I tried a pizza using tortillas, that was ok too. Keep it got going and well done so far:j
  • Hi all,

I stopped losing weight for a couple of weeks - didn't stop 5/2ing, just stopped losing weight. BUT the (very!) slow loss has started again. 11lbs gone in 13 weeks of diet - & BMI under 25 for the first time in years. Went to the gym yesterday & the treadmill's far easier for not carrying 11lbs of excess baggage. Thought the exercise might speed up the snail-like weight loss. Maybe it will!

I had weeks like that but though the scales stayed the same the waist decreased a little.

    Hi all

What a great supportive thread. I am planning to start this next week, to combat too much cake eaten of late...

Would anyone recommend reading one of the books beforehand or is it all relatively straightforward? I can go into wh smiths tomorrow you see in order to get myself in the zone for day 1 next week!!

    Thanks x
  • Hi All,

I am currently writing about Intermittent Fasting as I found I lost loads of weight by limiting when I eat. As a bonus I also save extra money too! My website may be useful if your interested.

Still loads of work to do though but I will probably fast diet all the way until 2014.

Hi karie and welcome to the forum. I read the 5:2 book first and found it very useful. You get some background information and for me it made clearer what I expected from the diet and what I expected to achieve. Good luck!

Well I made it through the 2nd consecutive fast day......just, so that is it until next Monday. Not too keen to repeat two days in a row again though.

Good luck to today's fastens! Everyone is doing amazingly:T

You won't be able to post a link to your web site yet, but will be able to put it in your profile info, just go to edit info.

Thanks Eliza, and sorry for the stupid question but there seems to be a few different books, could you point me towards the right author?

    Thanks a lot!
