Another 2 lbs off this week, but the big thing was adjusting the car seat forward as I needed to be a click closer to the pedals. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

I too have fallen off the wagon. After 2 weeks with friends in Greece over Easter, I put on 2kg. My weight loss moves VVEERRYY SLOWLY so gave myself 2 weeks to get back to where I was. But no I have stayed the same in the 2 weeks since we have been back.
So now in total I have lost just 2kg since I started 5:2 early Feb and feeling really fat and bloated (I have kept up the 2 fast days)
So next week is a whole new week, back on track and watching the non fast days too I think0 -
I did my first fast this week. Stopped eating at 8pm Wednesday, fasted 16 hours, then ate my 500 cals between 12-8pm. I stopped eating again at 8pm Thursday and started eating normally today at 12.
I won't lie, it was tough. I think having a high GI meal Wednesday night was an error and i'll plan better in future, but what I don't understand is why I'm sooooooooo ridiculosly tired! I slept well last night too.
I have now resumed eating and I feel no better for it.
Is this normal in the early days?Debt free (finally) and saving a deposit for my first home.0 -

To be honest, I feel better on my fasting days. I'm lucky in that I've never had any headaches, tiredness or chills on my fasting days, not even in the beginning. I find I just feel really good. It's really made me realise how the stodgy or high-sugar foods I've been eating have affected how I feel. I guess it doesn't hurt that I drink more water and green tea on my fasting days to feel a bit fuller.
Maybe you should try a breakfast and dinner on your next fast day. I think different people prefer different combinations. I would rather skip breakfast because it makes me more hungry later on. However Dr Mosely suggests stopping eating at 7pm the night before, having breakfast of half your allowance of calories at 7am and then the other half at 7pm, then eating breakfast the next day at 7am. So you eat every 12 hours.0 -
Thank you so much for the positive posts and support!
I made today my FD so only had 425 cals so far think that should help recover some of it
I've seen a few others mention struggling too - just keep up the hard work! I think at one point or another most of us will fall off but the good thing is we can always get straight back on.
Looking forward to seeing everyone's results soon (except mine lol)0 -

Brilliant! Well done:T How good is that!
...and to all others who have managed to lose yet more weight this week -fantastic!:T
I hope all the poorly people will be feeling much better soon and don't be hard on yourselves if you have had minor slips....it happens. We just pick ourselves up and move on. Onwards and downwards:)
Well I have not been one for staggering weight losses from week to week, but this week I was more than mildly surprised to have done marginally better. As for my DH -he is amazing he has reached his goal after 13 weeks!(I am so impressed and just a tiny bit envious:D)
Here are this weeks weigh-in results:-
Mine
Weight loss 1.54lbs (16.49lbs in 13 weeks)
Body Fat down 0.1%
Water content no change
Muscle up no change
and 4.25" lost from waist in 13 weeks :j
DH
Weight loss 1.68lbs (21lbs in 13 weeks)
Body Fat down 0.4%
Water Up 0.3%
Muscle up 0.1%
Good luck all fasters! :T My next fast days are Monday and Wednesday and DH will be doing the maintenance 6:1 next week.
Keep up the brilliant work everyone!Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

Will be interesting to see how the maintenance goes for your DH elizabunny, not there myself yet but hopefully only a month or two.
Not really sure the exact weight am aiming for, more of a case of seeing how I feelFollowing horizon 5-2 started 28/01/13 target where I am now ish
Maintaining now as DW doesn't want my legs to get any skinnier
Total Loss=41.6lb0 -
Hope everyone's having a good Saturday so far
I've only lost 1lb this week, but the best thing is that my measurements have finally changed again. They've been the same for a good few weeks now but this morning I'd lost an inch from my waist and hips so happy days!
Have a great weekend folks!0
