Further to the grapefruit situation :D, I think I should of only eaten half of it, due to a whole one being more kcal than I wanted to use so will give my lunch soup a miss and holdout till my evening meal so I won't have to cut it back.
Following horizon 5-2 started 28/01/13 target where I am now ish :)
Maintaining now as DW doesn't want my legs to get any skinnier :D
    Total Loss=41.6lb

Is it your fast day today? If so could you share your recipe for home-made pizza?

    Cheers

    Hi

No it wasn't a fast day - but it is only 355 cals so doable:

    1 x warburton sandwich pitta (162 cals)
1 x dessert spoonfall pizza topping (25 cals)
    2 x slices pepperoni (46 cals)
30g x low fat grated cheese (80 cals)
1 x mini babybel light (42 cals) (or 2 if you have enough cals!)

the babybel melt and are mozerella like in texture- it's yummy, and if you're craving pizza hits the spot! :)

Hi can i ask if you count cals on your non fast days please, this is my 4th week and im just not feeling the love this week iv dropped from 4:3 to 5:2 and a bit worried for weigh in this week ...

    Hiya

Yes I do - it started as a tool to stop me eating too much - now it's just a habit, and I like seeing how much i can actually have for 2000 cals. I think I would be eating a lot less than I should if I didn't count it - as it's amazing what I can have for 2000 cals (that's only due to this diet though .... 2000 cals wouldn't have gone far in the old days! lol)

Try without at first as it's less hassle - but don't feel bad if you need to :)

    Good luck

Having my usual fish curry with spinach on a bed of bulgar wheat, with some roasted butternut on the side.
I make up 2 portions of the curry sauce on Monday, so on Thursday just have to throw it in the pan :)
Am using frozen coley blocks as not much point using good fish in a curry and its not very expensive as the pack of 6 blocks will last me three weeks of fasting meals.

After what Pink Bear and Eagle Eye said, I must say that today (after fasting yesterday) I've struggled to keep the urge to eat too much under control. I got a sandwich from the guy who comes to work and he had trays full of chocolate and pork pie and crisps and my mouth was watering. I had some nuts on my desk that I kept nibbling on and plenty of water and I had a good breakfast but still all I wanted to do was eat.

I think the fast days are now easier than feast days! :rotfl:

I am also finding it difficult to eat enough on non - fasting days . I am sure this interferes with the process of weight loss too so I really have to make myself eat more on those days

Yes, this is my problem exactly.

Yesterday was an eating day and I didn't calorie count (my fitness pal not working for me) but I think I probably just scraped in to 'enough'.

    Today I have fasted again.

Tomorrow I am going to try and get so e fresh fish to do something enticing for supper.
  • I just joined MFP and already it says I am not eating enough cals.
I am only 5 feet 1 inch and only have 8 to 10 lbs to lose. I already lost about 7 lbs in about 7 weeks .
I only have a small appetite anyway so its just about making sure I eat the right things.

Oooh that sounds nice. Just looked and the Sainsbury's ones are just under 200cals, so that makes a great dinner with vegetables.

I had a homemade turkey curry and rice.

I have officially fallen off the wagon...:(

After a very hectic week I succumbed to ribs and chips at a restaurant approx 2200 calories at least! Thats without cuppas and a couple of biscuits at work. Only thing I can do to feel better is think I only had 600cals yesterday on a non fast day, so could swap days?

First proper slip in 9 weeks :(
