Dont worry - tomorrow is a new day. Maybe have some really filling veg soup to start with next time with some steamed chicken breast. You dont seem to have had any protein, maybe that could help. :-) Jane

I think there is almost certainly protein in the protein shake, the museli and the almond milk. More likely to be the hidden and not so hidden sugars fueling up the insulin system.

Fourth fast yesterday, managed to stick to it despite being 'hormonal', and went to the gym at 5pm too :)

Worth it for tonight, we're trying out the new Indian buffet restaurant in town, I don't intend to gorge myself but looking forward to trying all the different dishes on offer!

Good luck to everyone fasting, you can do it!

Off topic but what's the general feeling over there?

Worried, angry, weary, tired. This is day #6, some people are running out of ready cash or petrol or food.

I'd hope everyone is going to stick together and withdraw all their money from the banks? Put a run on the lot of them!!:p

The banks are, essentially, closed. Anyway, if there's a run on the banks where does that get people? The problem is massively bigger than the proposed levy. If the country can't find 5.8bn€ then Europe will withdraw liquidity, the banks will be bankrupt and we'll be out of the Euro and into freefall inflation.

Second fast day yesterday & did a good Yoga workout too. On scales this morning but only lost about 1/2lb this week. But I am noticing how loose some of my clothes are getting and its fabulous being able to put on fresh washed jeans without breathing in & struggling to do the zip up & seeing the 'overhang' all the way round!
Hope everyone has a good weekend - keep up the good work

ashleyI think we've all had those days - but just get back on the bike - you can do it!
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

It was a tongue in cheek comment about the run on banks, it is disgusting suggesting taking ordinary people's savings. Tough times ahead sadly and the state this country is in I don't think we'll be far behind.

After a five day trip to Germany i am back on the wagon with a fast day today. I'm not weighing in again until the first week of the Easter holidays so hope I get rid of what I've probably put on and have lost another pound or so.

Weigh in for me this morning. 11stone 13lbs!! That makes 10lbs lost now and the first time I've been below 12stone in years.

Sod the snow, it can't dampen (or freeze) my mood today! :D:D:D
