    So how's everyone doing today?

Very well, thank you. It was a weigh day today and I've not only managed to break the stall that has plagued me for several weeks but the stone number on the scales is one less... just.

Over that last week, I've increased my activity levels significantly. I spent all last Saturday and Sunday cutting up fallen trees and splitting logs for firewood. I've also started doing the 100 press-up routine again as well as dusting off the rowing machine (and using it.)

We've booked our summer holiday so now I have an added incentive to lose my tum. :p

Ooh well done Gloomendoom and Azure! I hate that when it doesn't shift and you think you're stuck and then boom! Off it goes :D

    Don't give up,
    It goes eventually.
Can you try to up your activities ( long walk/run/swim/gym class)? I think that might have been the trigger for me.

Are there any good UK sites online that generate gym workouts? Or anyone here that can suggest something? Last time I went to a gym I just hopped between machines without a clue :o Pretty sure I never got the best out of it and don't want to make the same mistake this time.

A lot of us seem to hit a 'plateau' where we're fasting but things dont seem to be shifting. KEEP AT IT - it WILL go :) I've not been below 150lb since my 20's so although I had a few weeks where I stayed the same for ages it did start to drop again. Got my second wind now -(or is it my third - haha)
Ellanutella I'd suggest you choose the two days that are easiest for you - I find as long as I'm busy I don't think about food. I had a hectic day yesterday & had an instant soup at lunchtime & the rest of my calories at about 11pm when I got home. The beauty of this diet is that you can work it to suit your lifestyle ;)
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Thanks, Mado, I shall grit my teeth and carry on - at least the weight isn't going up!

I think lack of exercise definitely isn't helping, but unfortunately I am limited in what I can do - MS.

Well, I've been all day with only an orange so thought I was justified in eating a bowl of leftover Lancashire hotpot this evening. I find it difficult to count calories even on a fast day but I doubt there was 500 calories in that bowl. (I hope not). Boy, was it good though.

I thought I was going to, for the first time ever, be able to tolerate a Daily Fail article. Then i read the words 'as long as you starve yourself'.

I'm sure I'm not alone in NOT feeling like I'm starving myself. If for a second I felt like this I wouldn't still be doing it.

As for the comments, don't even get me started...
