I don't do two days together, but I'm not sure whether it is allowed or not, sorry.

I'm looking at doing this. When fasting, how do people spread their eating, breakfast and dinner?

I have breakfast, no lunch, dinner in the evening:)

Although today seems a very long (fast) day and I feel really hungry even though I have had dinner.

Depends how I feel. Sometimes I'll have some fruit for breakfast but other times I'll just wait til Lunch for soup then have a bigger meal at dinner.

Though I'm off soup for now. I was really poorly today after work and I don't know if it was a dodgy tin of soup or the fish I had last night, either way, I don't want to look at tomato soup again anytime soon :(

    I don't think it's a question of being allowed!:rotfl:
I think it's just far harder for most people to manage.
I think it takes about 16 hours for your body to not into the fast mode, and from then, the longer you can keep it in that mode, the more the reduction in the biological markers, so in theory the best results.

It is entirely up to you. If you can do two consecutive days there's nothing to stop you. :)

Well after wearing trousers to weigh in last week and therefore losing 2.5lb, I was worry what the scales would say today in jeans but yay yay yay another 2 pounds off! Was considering 3 fast days this week as felt I had blown out after weigh in last week but now not sure whether to do one tomorrow or not. Think I'll try and get to lunch as I would normally on a fast day and have the same salad and just see how my will power holds out after that. Am off to Germany for 4 days from Sunday so have to do next weeks fasts on Friday and Sunday and then am back to work after maternity leave....boo (but at least now have a wardrobe of things I can wear!!!!). Will be interesting to see what I weigh in 3 weeks which is the next time I am going to my slimming class!

Sorry, just come to this thread.

My understanding is that two fast days in a row isn't a good idea because your body can kick into "fast mode", which means that your metabolism changes to use the food your body is getting more effectively, and so you don't lose weight.

Also you're more likely to stick to a day's very restricted food if you know you can eat more or less what you want the next day. If you know that the next day will also be a fast day, you're more likely to say "oh f*** it" when tempted ....
