Hi All - FS today, the first this week as I didn't fancy doing it on Monday as i was so cold :(
Got on the scales this morning though & have only crept up to 151lb despite not fasting for a week AND I helped DH with a bar of Hazlenut Chocolate on Sunday & Fruit & Nut on Tuesday - and I'm not normally a chocolate eater (how's that work then??)
Its a lovely sunny cold day here & new washing machine arrived yesterday so off to keep myself busy with the mountain of washing that can be put on the line for a good blow :)
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

well, after taking my 'eye off the ball' on feast days i did indeed lose 2 lbs last week, then put them back on during the week! But it was a nightmare weekend family drama wise! Not overly bad calorie wise, but poor food (and drink)choices! Anyway thanks to the motivation on this board I have continued and now have lost (weigh in this morning) 8 lbs in total - 6lbs on 5:2 which I am really happy about
Clothes are a little loose, and even OH wants to join in, so it must be working - loads more energy too even after a week and weekend of feeling rubbish!

Good luck today's fasters! I feel like I'm having a 'fat' week this week. I have been really disciplined and kept up with my exercise plan, but I feel 'fat' so not expecting too much from weigh in on Saturday. I may have lost another 0.25" off my waist and my clothes are certainly becoming looser, but I just don't have that 'thinner' feeling this week.
    I know what you mean.
I'm now lighter than I have been for most of my adult life, feeling great with it but I still occasionally feel fat.
I've had very few comments on the weight loss (8 kg since october), except "in passing" which has been quite strange.
I think in my head I'll always be "a little bit plump" even though size 10 clothes are lose.
I am a little apprehensive for the maintenance phase as in the past, I've allowed the old habits to creep in and the weight to come back. We're going away over Easter and I'm planning on enjoying every minute of it (ie, no fasting as food is very serious in our family :D).
So I guess I'll have to stick to the thread to make sure I don't let it slip.

I'm having a hungry day today - was ravenous by 1030 after my usual fast breakfast of a warburton's thin with marmite and a cup of tea .... but managed to wait until 1230 for my lovely lunch of Chicken salad pitta with sweet chilli dressing and my all time fave 9 cal jelly :T. Still feeling ... hmm not hungry but craving chocoalte, but I'll ignore it - I can have it tomorrow if i still really want it!!!

Good luck to all today's fasters!

We're going away as well for about 10 days including Easter. However, we will be catering for ourselves so.....I think we may try and stick to the plan on the non- Easter days. I am going to squash in 2 fast days before we go, so Monday & Wednesday of next week, we'll have to try and fit in 2 while we are away:(and then postpone Easter Monday's until the Tuesday.
We're planning lots of cycling and walking, so hopefully this will counteract the Easter chocolate etc.:D
Hope you have a great holiday!

Good luck to all of todays fasters!

I made it through last night on 470(ish) calories but had a rubbish nights sleep as tummy was rumbling - body still adjusting i think!

Feed day today, so far terrible food choices - all carbs no veg! Three cups of sugar free muesli with almond milk and it's 15.10! Very naughty. Didn't get up for insanity group AGAIN this morning which means i now have to motivate myself to do it on my own in the living room - was absolutely knackered after my night of tossing and turning though :/

Going out for dinner to a teppanyaki restaurant so looking forward to being able to choose whatever i fancy AND i'll be having a wine or two!

Second fast today. No breakfast, apple for lunch, and a ready meal (Chicken Biyriani - can't spell it!) for dinner. As long as I keep busy I'm not noticing the hunger at all, and if I do, it passes pretty quickly.

I'm just hoping this diet works for me weight loss wise...
