Hello all - hope you all had a great weekend!
Fast Day today - and boy do I need it, over indulged at the weekend, so not expecting much of a loss (if any!) this week. but will keep my chin up and forge ever onwards ... and downwards!
Good luck to all fasters today ... mine consists of a Warburtons Thin and Martmite + cup of skimmed milk tea for brekky, then a Hot chicken, salad pitta with sweet chilli dressing for lunch. Then Gym for dinner lol

Morning All!
My First Fast day today, so heres hoping I get it right.The plan is :-
green tea with lemon all morning (busy with hydro at hosp)
a satsuma? for an afternoon snack, then a small bit of chicken with some salad leaves and a few cherry toms for tea.
does this sound ok? good luck to everyone else today0 -
If you can keep going on it it's OK, everyone can do what suits them on this so long as you stay on target on your fast days. Today I had an apple for breakfast, 3 silverskin onions for a snack and I will have a huge mixed veg dish with zero noodles (Horrid and !!!!!! have them back in stock) for tea after work, black tea and water whenever I want all day.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Good morning fellow fasters, having eaten a good low protein dinner last night fasting should be easier today they say. No carbs today, haddock and stir fry for dinner after 6pm. By no carbs I mean grain-based foods, the caveman way. Interesting reading online for paleo diet recommended, though I don't follow all it's wisdom religiously. Good luck everyone. :0):hello:0

Morning All - FD today. Had roast dinner quite late last night & not eaten so far as I'm still digesting!! Going to keep busy & last out as long as I can & then have something very light - not sure what yet.

. Not had anything yet apart from tea, will have soup in a while and tonight will be having cod spinach garlic butternut and a little bit of brown rice .

I have been doing the 5:2 Diet since last August and have been posting my experiences on another site. I have thoroughly enjoyed this although I have to say that this site has a lot more interest.
I hope to post when I've read what folks have got to say.0 -

Afternoon everyone. Another faster here today -Monday seems popular. I will do Wednesday this week instead of Thursday as going I'm away. However I plan to be good and have 2 more fast days while I'm away. That's the idea anyway.
Had my usual breakfast today and only water since. I am making a stirfry with some Cod for Dinner and will manage to fit in some fresh Pineappple for after (pud is always a bonus). That should leave me with 40 calories for a drink before bedtime.

Fast day for me today as well! St. Paddy's day yesterday meant eating dreadfully and drinking far too much!
Managed to only have coffee/water until 3pm and i've just had some vegetables roasted in 1 cal spray and seasoned with paprika, salt and pepper. Feeling full again but the cold is really getting to me today.
I'll do a high intensity zumba class tonight and then have a tin of soup for dinner0
