So, another fast day coming to the end. Lots of coffee today, an apple for lunch and then a stir fry and a tin of tuna for tea. I've just had a slice of toast to keep the hunger pangs at bay so I'm now nearing my 500 calories. I think I'll have an earlyish night tonight so I'm up nice and early for breakfast
.

Third fast day today. Had some watermelon and made a lovely brocolli and cauliflower soup with homemade veggie stock. It was delicious and only 37 calories a cup!
Enjoyed the last of it this evening with three Ryvita (only 35 cals each!).
Soup and fruit is definitely my best way to fast.
only problem is I have a bit of diarrhoea as I'm not really eating carbs on my fast days. Anyone else get this?:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

I had this on a couple of occasions, both times it was in the evening, a couple of hours after eating my main meal, it was almost as if my digestive system was in shock after going all day with very little food! I actually wondered if it was down to the artificial sweetener in the flavoured water I had been drinking, I am trying to stick to plain water now and haven't had a problem since.0 -
Hello everyone! Just coming to the end of my 9th fast day. Not too bad today, I was very busy and didn't really get the hunger pangs I have in the past. Managed to keep a few calories for a hot drink tonight only 40 calories. It was a bit sweet for me but seem to hit the spot.
I have decided not to worry about the tiny weight loss on Saturday and plough on. I have a way to go and won't give up at the first disappointment. The funny thing is, I look thinner in the face and around the midriff so something is definately happening and my weight hasn't been this low for nearly 20 years. I think I am just impatient and I want it gone.
Well done everyone and good luck to tomorrow's fasters:T

Had a vegan mushroom stroganof with shredded steamed cabbage instead of noodles for tea so I have a little left to play with.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Had far less calories than I intended as my oven has died (hob and all...) My delicious teriyaki beef stir-fry is sat in the fridge uncooked. Looks like another cup of tea will have to substitute...0

Just had my breakfast. Very hungry today so there was no way I could tag it out until lunchtime.
Having thought on this subject further, it does seem to me that I have been doing a form of this fasting for years anyway. I remember BiL saying that he had never been so hungry and that he doesn't really tend to get hungry. I do so perhaps was IF all along?
Sorry to hear about your oven tea, hope you get it fixed soon or it could be a long fast for you...Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek: :eek: :eek: £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Did under 500 Cals yesterday and woke up this morning still not hungry. Fasting again on Friday - would have been Thursday but I am working at a bye election and there is no way I could fast doing that or not have one (strong) drink when I get home afterwards.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head.
