Good afternoon everyone:)
My 8th fast day today so nearly at the end of 4 weeks and I have a weigh day on Saturday.
So far today I have had my usual breakfast smoothie 250 calories (this sets me up for the day:D) I have also had a mug of black coffee, 1 mug of Marig*ld Bouill*n for lunch and I'm now having a mug of Lavender herbal tea. Feel fine at the moment, I think the hot drinks are more comforting than just cold water although I admit, I must try and drink more plain water too.
We will probably have dinner at around 5/6pm but reserve a few calories for a hot drink before bedtime. The period between 7-9pm is always my worst, but I can guarantee I will wake up tomorrow morning and not feel the least bit hungry -odd that.
Still not calorie counting at all on non fast days, although trying not to go over the top either. I have also increased my exercise regime this week, by cycling 10 miles on Sunday and swimming 1000 metres on Tuesday. I am not convinced that either of these activities will have a powerful impact on my weight loss, but hopefully, if I can manage similar each week it will help.
Good luck to today's fasters, well done to yesterday's and best of luck to tomorrows:TSealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

My 6th fast day today and I have eaten an Apple 50 Cals, soup which I left half of ( not very nice!) so about another 50 cals, and 2 jaffa cakes (I know!!) 100 cals....... tonight I will have a small piece of salmon, salad, and some new potatoes (tin), these are really low calorie ( read about them somewhere ). Not had potatoes out of a tin before but will to give them a go and report back! I think that should work out to about 250 cals for tea, and that leaves a few calories incase I get desperate!! Good luck one and all x0

Do tinned pots have less cals than normal ones? I used to love tinned pots, they have a lovely texture.
I'm doing well so far. Only eaten 10g of pineapple, which is 66-80 cals depending on where you get our cal info.
Sitting next to another bowl of 140g which should bring my cal total to 150 max or 128 if using the lower figures.
Will try and put off eating it and hopefully I can use the remaining 350 cals to have a chicken breast and veg as dinner with OH later. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

I would double check that.. 100 grams of salmon (quite small portion) has already 200 calories!!! (I was counting the calories on my fish cake yesterday and decided not to use salmon again, no wonder is so nice..)0 -
I was getting really excited to read about tinned potatoes until I looked on Tesco website, a 100g of tinned potatoes (drained) contain 70 cals, and small charlotte potatoes 100g contain 76 cals.
I supposed every little helps with so few calories to be had on fast days, and I love tinned potatoes, not had them in years, so popped a few in my basket for delivery tomorrow.
Well I blew it yesterday, non fast day, but I had a crumpet with poached egg for breakfast, a prawn salad for lunch, a huge huge bowl of chilli and rice (I had a whole boil in bag rice to myself - 2 servings it says on packet!), then as I watched Brits, I had two packets of crisps, 2 large glasses of wine and a chicken sandwich.
I'm going to fast again tomorrow just to get back on track, I can't believe I ate all that rubbish in the evening and woke up feeling bloated cause I had bread late the night before.
Skintchink - you are doing really well today, not easy with a toddler and I would find it difficult not to pick at her food!
Good luck with those fasting today.

But Merlot, aren;t we supposed to eat normally on non-fast days?:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

"Normal" means different things to different people. I guess by Merlot's standards she pigged out!0

Funnily enough I decided against the Salmon and had some ham instead which was only 25 cals per slice, so I had two of them, the tin potatoes were actually really nice and 48 cal for half a tin (I got them in Tesco and they were on offer if you bought 2 tins), I shared the tin with OH and even gave him more than half....so all in all I really enjoyed my dinner and I'm full!....Result x0
