I got a result yesterday. I worte to Original Source on Wednesday to say that I love their products and am really happy that they don't upset sensitive skin. They wrote a really nice letter back saying that they really like to get positive feedback from customers and sent me a bottle of their new fragrance shower gel to try too.Rose :j0

During half-term I took my daughter bowling and they had got the staffing completely wrong. Our half-term was out of sync with the city we were bowling in so they assumed it was going to be quiet.
There was one poor girl doing the reception, giving out the shoes, came across and served in the cafe and helped me out when my lane broke down. I could go into more detail but basically I emailed them to complain about the staffing levels but praising the girl in question.
They rang me up to find out more and I insisted that they should acknowledge that I wasn't just complaining but praising. They said they would show my email to the staff member and they sent me a voucher for 5 free games of bowling.:T0 -
I work in a retail environment and being thanked for good service does make you feel that all the effort is worth it.
I have been giving feedback for quite a while and it has proven to be very successful. All the money i make from it enables me to support my favourite causes even more. As i have more spare money to spend on what i want to and not what i have to.
My successes so far for both (P)ositive and (N)egative comments:
Jordans (P) - Real Fruit Porridge Sample and 50p coupon
Birds Eye (P) - £4 Coupon
Fox's Biscuits (N) - £3 Coupon

So give it a go as companies need to know where they are going right and where they are going wrong so that we can all benefit with better products and services. My Motto in Life:

It would be nice if we could get a little collection of email address for the big companies.0

I think it would be nice to thank local companies too, not just the big ones! I often find that's where I get the best service and although it's unlikely to result in a freebie you're more likely to spread the love that way!!
I had a great meal last week in a place I've never been before and this has inspired me to try and email them now!0 -
yeah i've gone out of my way to report excellent service - i do it because i've had it done about me and it's really lovely to have it recognised and highlighted.
i hope it did the same for the people involved because when i've highlighted it the company just say thanks and that's the end of it.
not that i'm knocking your idea though - and congrats to the peope who got something!0 -
