Freebies for being nice?

Hipp is a good one to contact, i emaile dthem a while back as my son loved there food especially the veg with noodles and chicken. the next thing i knew i had 20x 30p off coupons through the post. doesnt sound like a lot i know but when you think they are 63p per jar thats almost half price.

Has anyone sent emails to companys saying how much you liked their product and recieved freebies? if so please state

After reading this thread when I first joined MSE, i wrote to a few companies praising their products where I thought credit was due. After working previously in customer service, I know that getting praise when you do a good job is appreciated.

One company I sent a letter to was Schwartz, to praise their packet mixes range and had a lovely email back. While I was on their website I entered their competition to win some Saute pans. I have just had an email to say I won the competition! It just shows good karma does work! :A

I received a £2 voucher from Mars after congratulating them on their Mars filled eggs (just after Easter).

I used the feedback form on their website.

When I worked in a popular opticians, we got a letter forwarded to us from head office of a customer just thanking us for the service they received and saying how happy they were. a couple of times while i worked at monsoon customers wrote in about me, and for each letter my boss bought me a bottle of wine!!!! (although the second lady who came in, actually said that money was no object, and i talked her out of buying a top to go with ther trousers as i though for that amount of money she'd get something better down the road...if my boss'd known that it might not have been such a nice bottle )

it really does do good things foe marale, monsoon have a newsletter and they oublish it so all the stores around the coubtry can read it... (a bit sickly but nice allthe same.)
