Can someone please tell me what weight of cooked, lean beef would make one Healthy Extra on Slimming World? I would be very grateful because I have a huge joint in the slowcooker and I want to freeze some in single portions.

Sorry if it's a bit of a cheeky question, I am planning to join SW very soon but I need to get that beef in the freezer tonight!

Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Hi all - update after SW weigh in - PHEW maintained after so much chocolate/cakes etc (I could go on !) I have no idea how I managed to do it  Still I'm not complaining.

Well done all you losers, with all that temptation, you all did exceptionally well, keep it up maintainers and gainers - it will all turn out well if you stick to the plan.

Walked to work and home again yesterday and ended up with 2 feet full of blisters  - silly me - it was such a lovely day I decided to go sockless - totally wrong thing to do - ouch:o

Still, got all my plasters in place and am keeping at it today (though caught the bus part way due to being late) and wearing socks and walking shoes - so hope I can manage it without gaining any more blisters - I'm almost all out of plasters :D

I've asked this question when at my SW class and my consultant didn't know - the weight they give you for a HE is for RAW meat. No good if you want ham or whatever. I'd be interested to know too. I'll try and remember to ask next week - or I'll look online on their website to see if it will help.

if you mean acidic, like trapped wind, stomach bloating, burning in the chest and lots of burping then yes definetely had all of that:j Quite simply it was me having the wrong fast food processed muck that was causing the bloating and ehm the passing wind:rotfl:

Now I have dropped the weight I rarely get acid if at all (now you have reminded me of how it was I can't remember the last time!) I used to survive on andrews morning, noon and night but have not had to have any for a long time now....
    yup thats it, lol

have signed up for the race for life and start training for that tonight to after class, so am hoping that this will help get some more weight off.

Well done to all the loosers, maintainers and to every single one of you, you are all fab:j

My weigh in was this morning and very pleased to report a 3 lb weight loss again this week ( oh the joy of cycling!!):D

My BMI is the best bit of this week as it is.........25:j :j exactly what it should be so am well chuffed, I also had my annual blood sugar HB diabetic reading and my cholestrol, sodioum pottasium, blood pressure are all normal and my yearly reading is 7.3 (perfect between 5 and 8) so I am so well these days it is scary:j

Also someone said TOTM, well I just noticed with me that the (look away boys!!) breast tenderness is practically nothing (I used to be in agony with it and was even sent to the hospital for all sorts of tests, cancer, etc because it was impossible to live with...) that and the acidicness has severely lessened, oh what benefits I do have now:D if only my arthritis would calm down ;)

    Well done puddings

    Hi Everyone :hello:

I am so out of things at the moment that I've just realised that I didn't mention yesterday that at my weigh in that I have lost a further 1.6lbs 535538e677.gif535538e677.gif

Well done to the rest of you who have also lost :T :T :T ....
...... and 5b2dc1bac7.gifto all our lovely new people, please stay with us, and let us know how you cope, or struggle.

I'm going to stay on the right side of Petrichor in future, she scares me ;) . Hope your DD survived the night :rotfl:

Yes, she's still alive :rotfl: I think I'd better give a quick explanation before you all get the wrong impression of me :D . She tidied her bedroom last week (an annual event whether or not it's needed - I kid you not 852d5c378a.gif ) but in the process she did something to the router. She did a diagnostics check and told me that it was something to do with the ISP, I phoned the ISP and got a very unhelpful young man who annoyed me so much that I totally 71ddb83a17.gifand my toys went well and truly out the pram :o However by Sunday pm common sense started to prevail and I realised that it could only be a fault at our end, so MrP and I went and bought a new router. DD came home and before I set up the new router, she realised that she hadn't reentered the codes into the existing router !!!!!!! and lo and behold we were back on line. I don't normally query anything with her as she's very intelligent (Bachelors and Masters degrees) and if the dreaded lurgy hadn't been in full force, I would have remedied it sooner. However PC World refunded the new router so everything turned out okay and DD has now been elevated back to 44673cc2d1.gifstatus. I didn't realise just how much I used and indeed relied on the internet for banking etc, but at least this episode also exposed a shortcoming of our existing ISP and we have now found a better and cheaper provider and will be changing to it shortly.

    xxxxx

Edit No DDs were hurt in the process :rotfl: Honestly
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
