Lois - pajamas? Couldn't you find any clothes that you liked? :D

I opted for the pyjamas because I have a pair just like them, but having said that, I wasn't very keen on the clothes - not me at all!

The chart is really quite inspirational. It's good to nosey at for motivation.

    Thanks, I'm pleased it helps

Where do some of you find these smilies and avators? Honestly! There are some hilarious ones coming into the messages and yes, I just thought of it because of puddings last message :rotfl:

Puddings' avatar is hilarious - I've got the radio on in the background and the avatar really appeared to be dancing in time to the music. :D

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

    Ditto

Text entered as message too short otherwise!

Hi Dixie - well done for your weight loss. :T

You can make cheese sauce without using too many syns if you reserve your Healthy Extra A's for the milk and cheese.

Here's how I do it: 1 tbsp cornflour, 700mls skimmed milk , 56g cheddar cheese or 84g reduced fat cheddar cheese. Mix the cornflour with a little of the milk, and heat the remaining milk, then add the warm milk to the cornflour/milk mixture, stir, then return to the pan and bring to the boil, stirring, until the sauce thickens. Remove from the heat and add the grated cheese, stir until the cheese has melted, then pour over your cauliflower.

This recipe serves two and uses 3.5 syns for the cornflour and 2 HE(A)s per serving.

Hi Lois, thanks for that will give it a go
Remember ....its not a bargain unless you need it :D

Hello - I'm new to Slimming World but am going to give it a go (started at lunchtime today!) Could someone please help me with Muller Light yoghurt - are they free or do I have to count them in somehow?? Also, could I join the weekly weigh in list - I think it would help to keep me on the straight and narrow. Reading these posts is really helpful too - thanks!

    Hi all

not posted for a few days, but have been reading posts and tried to keep motivated but had a bad week with chocolate etc...

This showed in my weigh in. lois I Gained (sob sob). Just 0.5 lb but I know it's my own fault. No one forced things on me, but receiving a free bar of Nestles new Heaven through the post, ( from the freebies bit on here) which just had to be eaten!!!
Could you possibly add my total loss from before I started coming on here?? It is 1stone 4.5 lb. Seeing it like that makes me feel a bit better:D I'm now just 1.5lb in the challenge which means I have to pull my socks up and get back on track.

Could anyone please post the website where you have done those wonderful before and after piccies. I used to have those checked jammies from M&S:o
I want to have a go and hopefully it will get me back on track.

Have made a big pot of veg chilli for tonight, which smells good and OH will just have to moan about it being meatless:p

    Hi Play

Thanks for the information, it's very useful. I'm interested to see that the magazine quotes a healthy BMI as being between 18.5 and 29.4, as I was under the impression that anything over 25 was overweight - has there been some relaxation in thinking about this?

    LL

No relaxation, the BMI has to be between 23 and 25 for ideal weight over 25 is still considered over-weight, over 30- obese, so says every doctor I go and see!

Well done malima excellent, :j :j

suggs I was in boots today and at the chemist counter they have for the weighing machine a smart card, it is a blue credit card that the chemist validates a free go on the machine with body fat also, then the next time you put it in you get 10% discount and your last 10 readings get saved from the machine onto your card to see the progress... you may know about it already but I didn't and love the idea, can't wait until next tuesday to get a free go ( I love anything for free!!)

HI D3BB13 (does that spell Debbie?) welcome to the thread.

Ordinary Muller lights are free food on Slimming World, so you can eat as many as you like. The pudding ones are half or one syn each depending on the variety, while the layers are 1.5 syns each.

No problem with adding you to the list for next week - good luck with your weight loss. :)
