I don't know if you should laugh or admonish you for going back on scales today but seeing as you're feeling so up :T :rotfl: :T :rotfl:

Welcome back TallGirl and loopylas30. Nope I don't think I was here when you last posted but still :D

Katmad99 I'm sure we will be slim and graceful but I'll keep my fingers crossed as an added good luck charm :)

I actually popped in to say...

I seem to spend ages planning meals and what to eat that is different but at work today I couldn't think of anything. I ended up with 2 eggs scrambled on a small piece of toast and it was fantastic. It seems that trying to be too inventive meant I'd forgotten the simply things :D

It's in my menu list now so hopefully I'll not forget again!

Just a very quick one off to shops....can anyone tell me where they sell the fat free dressings:confused: and which lowest mayonnaise do you all buy and one last one.....how do I make the home made coleslaw again? Got the cabbage..:j and mustard...Thank you ,bye for now:D

Kraft do fat-free dressings and as far as I know they sell them in most supermarkets (certainly in my local Asda).

I buy the Hellmann's lowest mayo (the one with the purple label) and I use it half and half with plain low fat yoghurt when making coleslaw.

For the coleslaw, I grate (actually I use a Borner V slicer) carrots, onions and white cabbage, then mix in my mayo mix until it's how we like it. The whole family love coleslaw and tell me the one I make is nicer than any bought ones and, of course, it's virtually fat and syn-free. It's especially yummy with SW chips ;)

Well done victory on your loss, tho bad for gettin on the scales mid week, i'm half tempted to get the spanky picture out...but since you did so well and it helped you then i guess it's ok... :)

Erlqueen well done re-discovering egg on toast! hehe!! dont forget beans on toast too! and boiled egg with soldiers! the simple ones are always the best!!!

Is anyone watching C4 right now???
Apparently there's proof that being overweight is GENETIC!! phew! saves me some money on a gym membership! (kidding!!) seriously, should they be telling people this?? doesnt seem right to give parents of overweight kids another excuse for their poor health?? (i dont mean this as harshly as it sounds, and of course one's body shape is dependent on genetics as well as environment, it was on the news though as 'the end of diets' and sort of made it seem like people can use it as an excuse to be overweight without trying not to be...do u see what i mean?)

Anyway, off to make some pasta for dinner.
    Hope everyone's well.

I think you should get out the spanking thing out kat:rotfl: :rotfl:

Naughty me going on the scales twice in two days, oh I do feel so awful:rotfl: :rotfl: :D

Thanks consultant for the coleslaw recipe and tips on what to buy fat free, my H loves coleslaw and spoons it onto his plate as I did that and potato salad, I am determined to make my own though....

Been to WHSmith to look at low fat diabetic recipe books and Anthony Worral Thompson does one entitled Weight loss for diabetics, scanning through the pages all the recipes seemed to be at least 6 to 9 grammes of fat in each one:eek: put that one back and then the kind helpful man brought me over another one ,writen by AWT again, money money money springs to mind:D

Did not buy either but will keep looking, anyone know of an absolute must low fat, low sugar, high fibre recipe book with pics, must have pics like to see what I am cooking:rotfl:

Been quite good today but it's difficult having to hav ebuffet luinches with customers at work. I try to stick to a couple of egg/tuna sandwich triangles and fruit but the temptation is massive! Lots of nice nibbles - very difficult to resist.
Had a totally syn free tea though - quorn sausages, broccoli, green beans, peas and 3 small new potatoes, and been for a walk with the dog.
I'm just hoping for any loss this week - I'll be happy withany movement in the down direction as I've had to eat like this 3 times this week:eek:
Well done to everyone posting brilliant losses again today - good going girls!

I'm actually looking forward to the weekend so I can have some control over what I'm eating not being force fed stuff I woudln't chose on a nondiet day let alone a diet day!!!

Any one doing anything exciting this weekend? The OH wants me to go to bed shops and bounce on the mattresses to test them - alone ! He's not around and therefore wants me to humiliate myself on my own!
    We'll see.......:o
