  • Am feeling like i have no energy - it might just be my body adjusting to the lack of sugar!
Does anyone have "uplifting" food that will give me a boost before i turn to the lucozade!

    Thanks
I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something
  • Don't drink the Lucozade:eek: How about a diet coke? I find that doing a few minutes exercise helps when I feel like this (I use mini trampoline) and then eat an apple. :D

I bought some Strawberry fromage frais from Lidl for 60 odd pence, was a 600g tub.It had 89 calories and 0.2g of fat in every 100g.It was nice and sweet but not too damaging on the calorie and fat side and to be honest 100g is more than enough to get rid of those sugar cravings.

Or you could try those Options hot chocolate drinks with 40 calories a cup, they are good for sugar and chocky cravings.

Thanks for the kind words and hugs Suggs, Erlqueen, and Victory. I think i needed that kick up the bum.

You're all right about 'day one' and i've started again today feeling more positive.
I felt so rubbish last night that i stayed up last night and watched Desperate Housewives on e4, and 'treated' myself to some pitta bread with guacamole (i dont care if it's not healthy, it's got 'good fats' in it :D , and i just love it so much!:o) and some fresh pinapple. Ignored the chocolate though so it wasnt the disaster it could have been.

I do feel better today, and to be honest i doubt i will have much time for food as i have to do loads of work today so will be tied to the computer (with the internet disconnected to avoid any distractions!!). Erlqueen i'm in my final year of a Psychology degree and have to write up my dissertation, and it's not going well coz i'm a bit sick of it.

Perfection is an unsumountable task to achieve don't you think? Why not strive for terribly fantastic special you who sometimes has a bad day....
ironically my dissertation is about striving for perfection and healthy eating habits!!! I dont think i've ever strived for perfection, i'm happy being mediocre at most things lol!
but i dont like feeling like i've let myself down, and made things harder on myself, which is how i felt last night.

I WILL be slimmer before I collect my degree. Mindst I'll be so nervous that I'll probably step on my gown and end up flat on my face but because I'll be slimmer at least the hole I'll make will not be so big :D

:rotfl: Fingers crossed we'll both be slim and full of grace come graduation day!

    Hi All
Sorry I have not been around for ages the typical old story of falling of the wagon and then not being able to face posting on this board again. Rigth I am back at the Gym and now the golf season starts that will be good motivation. I am going away for a girls golfing weekend and I know there will be lots of nice drinks and food. SOOOOOOOOOOO I have decided to be good from next week no point in trying when I am away for the weekend. Did not WI on Monday so we will see what the damage is next week.
Keep going all of you Suggs you are still doing great I look pathetic next to you on the 2lb chart.

Forgive me peeps for I have sinned:D

I know it is wrong, should never be done but I went to the shops today and happened to go into boots and weighed myself I know it is terrible:eek: in the week, two days after the last disastrous one and against the heavy advise of my H, DS and friends but I also knew that tuesday's reading was a mistake, that I have never veered or cheated and the diet and excercise I am on does not allow for any weight gain (would be totally impossible) and certainly does not grant you for the mind blowingly hard work and efforts a 1/2 pound loss .

I knew I had not changed it in any way but I also knew that I needed a boost otherwise I would not be able to get through to next tuedays weigh in with my personal devastation at having lost in my eyes next to nothing.

I know the body has plateaus and it has to stop being such a good number especially nearer the target, I know all that but still could not settle that somewhere along the line the boots reading was not my reading.

Yes I have turned this weight loss lark into a full on military operation with me head chief:rotfl: :rotfl:

I appreciate the chart has been done for this week and in no way am I expecting it to be changed etc but I did it for me and my sanity:D (I WILL change my sig because I am proud of my achievements)

So, what does boots weigh machine say that she whitters on so:question:

3 lb loss:j :j Oh yes baby another 3 lb of fat has left my stomach:j :j

Now I am happy:D I usually put the pieces of paper in the draw but not this one, oh no this one is cellotaped right above the oven so I can see it at all times, I feel close to it:rotfl:

BMI the same 26.7, 6 lb to go......
