This thread has been busy today. Hi all I hope you’ve enjoyed the sunshine. I’ve been outside most of the day pottering in the garden and walking the dog. Hopefully it will help next time I weigh in.

Victory – I am so pleased to see you back to your happy self. The bike riding is inspiring. A warning to others on LW who want to try it though… Suggs & puddings look away now….. if you haven’t got a gel saddle cover buy one to protect your lady bits. Bruising of the pelvic bone is no good for the love life!
Kids can be so cruel; I hope your son is feeling better in himself now. My DS was bullied terribly for 2 years in primary and often taunted about his weight despite it being spot on perfect. I signed him up for karate lessons. He’s a black-belt now and never has any problems with his peers……

Rach! Good on you for sorting the gym. Good luck!

Mirry – good on you for sticking at it. You will succeed. I piled on the pounds with the pill for 6 months before it stabilised

Rachelmk – go easy on that dog :rotfl: Your doing great.

    Well done lottyxx, stilernin, hazzie123, loopyloo73, slowlyfading, suggs, ciara2712 & slscarborough on your losses plus Beanielou, Erlqueen, jab17, dawnydee73 & freebiehunter29 for maintaining over Easter. :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T

Lois Lane – I felt really sad for you reading you had been teased as a child for your weight. That makes your efforts now seem doubly impressive as it is changing you whole ‘life script’. I am so pleased you’ve found yourself a supportive hubby and I am sure that from your balanced posts you will be giving your children positive messages about healthy eating. :D

Honey28 – My DSs load the shopping trolley with all sorts they and I shouldn’t eat. I try to avoid shopping with them in supermarkets. A trip to the farmers market never seems to have the same problems.

    Hi
Just did my body image picture thingy and its not as bad as I thought. If it's right I am thinner than I see myself in the mirror! I would post it up for you to see but don't know how to! Weird how we see ourselves is probably completely diffrent to how others see us.
Still got at least 10 lbs to go though before I 'm happy.
Decided in the end to have a drink instead of something to eat and miraculously the nibbly feeling went away - must have been thirsty instead! Perhaps I should try this more often.

    Hi everyone

I joined the weight loss thread just after xmas and lost all of 5lbs in 4 weeks. I then broke up with my then boyfriend and have drowned myself in chocolate ever since and am really feeling crap right now. I would like to lose at least a stone to stone and a half in weight.

I'm not great on the exercise front either and am useless at motiviating myself. Can anyone give me any tips as to how to get back on track.

    Thanks

    Hi again

Well done to everyone who has lost weight this week, considering it's just after Easter you have done well. Suggs is Slimmer of the Week with his 9 lbs loss - well done :T

I can't remember who it was that asked about increasing the size of the chart, but hopefully this is a little more readable. I've made the original spreadsheet much bigger, but for some reason it shrinks when it's uploaded to MSE.

    Have a good week everyone.

Sorry Lois for not posting my weight in time for the chart, but i didnt make it to the sport centre, so will have to assume a maintain for this week.
    Well done all the losers.

Well I feel like cr*p now, spent all day indoors bored and munching, was meant to do loads of work but didnt manage it coz i felt totally demotivated. didnt make it to squash as wanted to use the time to do my work, still didnt get done and now i have to get up early to do today's work as well as tomorrows. And i feel ill, and will only get worse without enough sleep. And i feel like such a faliure as i really tried to be good and had fruit smoothie and healthy stir fry today but then ruined it by having half an easter egg, a creme egg, and a cup of sugary coffee during the day coz i felt so cr*p.

Why can i never stick to the things i want to do??? why cant i ever find it within myself to succeed????

    I'm so disappointed/ashamed with myself
