Well done lotty on your loss, and beanielou on your maintain.:T

WELL DONE Victory for your LOSS, even tho it was a small one, it still counts and i was sorry to hear that you got so upset, but everyone on here seems to have done a very good job of kicking you up the bum and making you listen to your own, very wise, advice!! And well done on the cycling!:T That would have killed me!!! And thanks for the handy 'kick starting' advice, i might give some of it a try when i feel i'm getting into a rut.
(ps- please try not to get upset again, it threw me because you're a bit of an inspiration to me:o , always doing so well and keeping everyone feeling postive when they are down, and it was so sad to think that you got so upset, i really felt for you coz you took it so hard, i hope your feeling 110% better and stronger now:grouphug:)

You could use your whole days worth of WW points for alcohol if you want to, but you wouldn't have any points left for food, so you'd have to live on salad and vegetables! :rotfl:

    LL

Perhaps something to do the day before weigh-in :D all that dehydration and all...

Didn't feel so good yesterday as was hungry all day...only went over my points by 1.5 though, so not too bad. The annoying thing is I earned 5.5 bonus points at the gym and ate them too  Was going to save them for the weekend.

I'm feeling much more positive today, though, so just looking at yesterday as a temporary glich...

I read somewhere that eating pasta makes us gain weight for a 24 hours so never eat pasta before a weigh in, this may be why I havent lost any weight ?

WELL DONE to the loosers, how did you do it ?
    Kindness costs nothing :)

then for the last 20 mins I had three lovely little girls off the estate with me, racing (I was allowed to go first bless them:rotfl: ) and they just kept following me which was brilliant because an 'ol un cannot be seen to loose face:rotfl: :rotfl: so I sped up....the girls were fine with that but I ended up huffing and puffing and now cannot feel my legs:rotfl: :rotfl:

All of this was looked on by my 13 year old who you could see out of the corner of the eye was tutting , embarrased, with all his mates playing football, wishing the floor would open up and swallow him:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    .

Oh!!!! that should have come with a warning Victory f00aee244c.giff00aee244c.gif I could have wet myself f00aee244c.gif Glad you're back on form.

Well done Lotty, beanie and hazzie :T :T :T

katmad I'll get back re the excercise later, I have been perfecting the technique :rotfl:

hazzie re the 'gummed up works' I've been having the same problem these last 10 days (only been once and that wasn't even worth the effort;) ) I eat a lot of fruit and veg too, it's so darned annoying isn't it? I've even been drinking extra water to try and grease the works:D

Good luck to those of you who still have to WI and if it's not the result you want, well there's always next week.

    xxxx

ps I better apologise re my comment about OH, he was really quite ill during the night, so I retract my somewhat flippant remark :o:o I'm just not used to him being ill.
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
  • Well done Victory, lotty and hazzie123 on your losses and beanielou on maintaining. Unfortunately I have stayed the same this week  so I think it's time to drop down a few calories. Good luck to everyone who hasn't weighed in yet.:D

Hi everyone.......... have jumped on the scales a 'day early' to join you all on a Wed morning......... and.................. LOST 2.75lb ..

Sorry to be so pedantic but my fancy scales show the quarter pounds and has the 'memory' for different people. I'm going to declare what the scales say I have lost / (gained) or I will get confused. Is that OK?

It's a beautiful day here today, so I will walk into town, approx a mile and a half, and back again, uphill all the way. Getting a loss, is a great motivator isn't it?

    Good luck every one.

Well done on all the losses this week - its good that we are on a happier form today :) I jumped on my scales (missed SW this week as it was earlier on Monday but we were out and about with the kids). My scales weigh me differently to SW so I just use them as a guide, but I seem to be putting weight on rather than losing it - Dont understand what I can be doing wrong - I do use some syns but not all of them  Going to re-read the kick start tips from Victory and try them.
Have a good day all xx

well done lotty hazzie and stirlin excellent stuff.:j

I am off to do my cycling pied piper bit around the estate again, every little helps and I am damned if I will allow a weight plateau in my life:D we will fight this to the end, come on ladies and Suggs (where are you?) the bikinis are calling:j :j

honey That is why I am cycling today (usually walk everywhere) and re- arranging my food, that is 2 points of the 5 changes to get over the weight plateau, can't see me taking up weights but I am firing on all cylinders again and will do anything and change anything to get it going again, must dash 6 year olds are calling me for my bike ride!!
