    Hi urbancookie,

I'll add your post into the Lose Weight thread at the top of the board where lots of the regulars use slimming world and weight watchers and will be able to tell you what they think of them.

Well done Victory - back to yourself again! Onwards and upwards!
Sorry to hear about your friend Honey - its a real blow, I'm sure.

Today is my day 3 of the rejuvenated diet effort. Not gone too badly so far - yesterday was good, stuck to the green day rules and only had a few syns. Today was totally free up until lunch time when I made the mistake of having a Muller layer thing (didn't know it was 1.5 syns). For tea, had homemade mash (syn free), peas (free) and 2 veggie sausages (cheese and leek) not sure of the syns but 140 cals each (not too bad hopefully). Am now stuffed and trying to get motivated to go for a nice long walk with the mutt (burn off a few bits of sausage at least!)..

I know its daft to say but I feel less bloated than at the weekend prior to starting eating properly again - may be more frequent poos (Sorry to be so graphic!!) and being more hydrated through drinking no alcohol and more fluids.

I hope that the weigh in next Sunday makes a difference - just a pound will do.
Anyway, off for a walk now - going for the burn!!!!!

    Take care
    R xx

Enjoy your walk, those muller yoghurts my H was aghast to discover they have 210 calories (muller fruit corners) he has asked me not to buy those again and go back to the muller light youghurts that are one pot, imagine what lunch you can have with 210 calories versus one pot of high calories, high sugar yoghurt:eek:

I know - sneaky little bu*gers those yoghurts! I don't even really like them - just don't like milk and yoghurt drinks and as a veggie I need calcium from somewhere! Might as well have a lump of low fat cheese instead!

Just nearly gave myself a heartattack - following victory's lead I jogged the 30 min walk with the dog - he's collapsed on the settee and I can still feel my heartbeat!!

Off to slowly fade away on the settee too now! (Pant, pant....:o )

Does virtually fat free fromage frais not have calcium? I eat that and it is lovely, you can get fruity ones but I like the plain one, or low fat cottage cheese?

It is swings and roundabouts with these (as most) diets you can have more alcohol with ww! Your best bet is to sign up with a class and tryit for a month.........

You could use your whole days worth of WW points for alcohol if you want to, but you wouldn't have any points left for food, so you'd have to live on salad and vegetables! :rotfl:
